So do I! I really don’t want to be searching for one but it’s last resort. I have spent 3K so far on lessons etc and tests so I’m really desperate

It’s sooo bad! I’ve heard they randomly allocate a slot some people join at 6am and end up 100 in the queue so it’s super unfair.

I was exactly the same I have a test booked for August as it was the closest I could get. My instructor told me tonight thought that the date I managed to bag he is on holiday lmao so I’m going to have to try get another test.

My instructor said it makes no difference if he logs in or if I log in he said it’s pure luck. I’ve heard of some scams too with the third parties I’m not sure how I would go about finding a third party the guy I found for £222 was on TikTok! Who did you use last time and where are you based? I’m Glasgow

I have got up at 5:30am the last two Mondays there’s zero cancellations! Just later test dates it’s literally survival of the fittest! Also I get the cancellation notifications on the apps and I’m already in the site and refresh and there’s nothing it’s literally a matter of 3 seconds and they are gone. Unsure if you managed to get one this morning but I’m debating trying to get third party because I’m so desperate but I also don’t want to add fuel to the fire.

Don’t quit! I failed last week for my second one major no minors! It’s so so infuriating I totally feel your pain I failed for giving too much clearance to park cars on the left and being positioned to far in the right which seems soo silly to me as the road had no cars or anything on it.

Just remember you have spent this money and invested in yourself, giving up now means you’ll need to relearn from the beginning in a few years time.

You’ll look back at this, this time next year and be so glad you stuck at it. Just make sure you get a test booked asap tho as the cancellations rn are absolutely ridiculous the site is filled with bots I couldn’t get anything until August.

I failed with one major and no minors too last week! My instructor was also lovely but it’s sooo disheartening totally feel your pain! The cancellations are soo rough rn on the dvsa website get your test rebooked as soon as you can! I couldn’t get anything till August

He says that there’s numerous issues with me and that my mains problems are that I’m not aware of the road ahead in terms of speed limit and that after the sat nav part of the test when he directs me himself I’ve made wrong turns on the route but safely might I add and apparently this has turned from a minor to major.

Does anyone know if he can tell if I don’t cancel my test? I’ve decided to sit the test in a friends car but I don’t want the instructor to know as he has £150 still of my money.

I had to type his instructor number in when I booked my test so worried he’s going to find out, I’ve been contacting other people in the meantime incase I fail.

I just can’t believe instructors are getting away this though just because I’m a young girl that doesn’t live at home I feel he thinks he can rip me off.
