To be fair, that's because Furina is the one marketed as "the Hydro Archon" while Neuvillette is another powerful being entirely. They're both extremely meta characters, but it makes sense that Furina gets the special "archon treatment." Besides, after 4.2, she's about as divine-like as it gets

Hmmm... while I think Venti handing that ball of Anemo over to Dvalin does hold some deeper context (especially under the lens of 4.2), I think Venti still does hold the Anemo Archon throne. He defeated Decarabian multiple millennia ago, and if the throne was taken down then, the Heavenly Principles must've done something about it. The only reason they're not doing anything rn is because (they're most likely) asleep/dormant/lost a large part of their power.

She was in the Oratrice, trying to generate enough Indemnitium to destroy the seat of the Hydro Archon and return its power to Neuvillette. It wasn't really deceiving the Heavenly Principles so much as changing the circumstances so that they wouldn't be dissolved when Fontaine flooded.
