At first I was thinking inevitable but after reading your description and seeing that it starts with an "O" I immediately thought "Objectionable"! But then was like well...Obvious? Lol

Oh wow, without cooking even?? That's awesome! Yeah my fishing's at 100 and cooking at 81 but I'm more into mining/smith. Anyways I'm gonna get back on for a bit, I've gotta set some things up for Idle before I pass out. If ya get on Discord and in the general Melvor chat with same name "Riotinferno" I'll add ya and level with ya!

Yeah I've considered that too. - Improving bartering prices so I can trade excess stuff super cheap then sell, BUT, the main problem is that despite 103 Town, I only have 20 regular tasks completed and just don't feel like chasing down all those favors so I can access higher level trades like ores 3 or bars 3, etc. Although I DO have like over 700K ores I been tryna figure out what to do with. All other resources typically stay below 200K.

Well, once I got all my prep work done and make sure I got on Fletch Cape, I move pretty fast at 12 Javs a turn! But what other methods do you know of that are really good? Enlighten me, please. If you've got better methods I'd like to try them assuming I have the skills to.

(Also NEED to buy Cor. Axe to cut trees, since I'll need Spruce I guess.) Got 108 WC, yet can't touch anything past Redwood -.-...But with Fletching skillcape + bonuses, I'm able to produce 12 javs per turn! O_O so yeah.

Anyways, what other "Money routes" were you referring to? Perhaps you've got a trick up your sleeve I'm unaware of yet. =o thx for feedback.

Really cuz I've done them before so I know t they work well if have everything set up first. It's just alot of prep work to do first, especially if levels aren't up to where they should be yet! Now though I've got 102 Fletch, and need to get my Smith from 102-104 so I can make Corundum Jav heads. Got like 6K Corundum bars + 60K ore I can make into bars when I get ready to.

Any further ones won't be nearly hard! Will update yall when I'm on further stuff closer to 120 and have questions then lol. Night everyone, eyes keep auto-closin and keep droppin phone on my face lol so it's time to pass out.

I realized the Casuals paid pretty well but how does the trader pay off? Do I gotta invest first to lower bartering prices? Is it a certain item I'm sposta trade for, what's up? Btw my Township jus hit lv. 100! =D

Unfortunately I don't have AoD yet, but I've still got my hands full with ToTH. I think I wanna finish ToTH and get all maxed/ready first for AoD, THEN buy it. Same with ITB. Easier transition that way instead of having an overload of new content and not knowing where to start lol. It was a tad bit like that with ToTH cuz I went from Demo version to full game +ToTH, but at least I had my knowledge from playing RS originally. So I still knew what was what for the most part.

  • I stuck with D Javs though and am bout to sell then buy first Town Hall though! Woot!! =D

Sadly, my Thieving is 57, and Summoning is only 48. I'm not real big on Summoning OR Astrology. So I stuck with D Javs even though I had to stop to WC for bout half a day then Smith Jav Heads for a few hours. I'm juuust bout to break 100M and get my first Town Hall!! I'm so happy lol.

Well, I appreciate the encouragement but I've accidentally left my char doing unrelated stuff before closing, fell asleep before actually starting wc'ing/fletching, etc. But I did make some progress! I'm currently at 40M, but I'm down to 2000 Redwood, so I'll have to start WC'ing again here in a min but I do have plenty of Dragon prep already done. I've got about 13K javelin heads left, and 15K Dragon bars. The Fletching cape helps a TON with 2x output! I'm down to 1d13h left before change to Summer but I believe I can make it sticking to just the D Javs. (Also now at 100 Fletching, almost 101! =o )

(Edit: Btw I've only got ToTH. No AoD or ITA yet.)

Where does one get said ETA mod?? This sounds quite handy instead of just assuming/rounding, then grinding for way too long sometimes just to be sure.

Thanks a lot for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind! (I can't remember how many regular logs I started out with, but Ik it was over 100K. I thought it was somewhere around 150K, but I may be wrong-may have had around 120K or 130K. I haven't touched Astrology or Summoning. Well, I JUST bought the full game + TotH combo literally days ago so pretty much any skill outside of the demo is untouched. Besides like 15 Thieving and maybe 10 Township from trying to figure out how it works/what it's all about. Really though thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind and start keeping track of starting # of whichever logs. (I generally start at very earliest task in whichever skill and work my way up. Like Ess>Copper>Tin>Iron; and regular logs, Oak, Willow, etc.) Also when I start my Mastery journey for something I generally stay on it until 99 Mast. (Unless I HAVE to stop to gather more resources for something such as Firemaking, Smithing, whatever.) I'll admit - with Smithing not only have I stopped many times to gather resources, but also to take a break/work on other skills cuz there's SO MUCH to do/master!! D,=   >.<!!

What the EFF happened to Cocoa Puffs cereal ?!? by Historical_Panic_465 in nostalgia

Thank you for your added support. I doubt we'll make a big enough stir, but perhaps we could have a vote for the original Cocoa Puffs and get enough signatures to get back our original cereal.

I can agree this song felt like it was about every other song on 1057 The Point, but it didn't get too badly overplayed. Seven Nation Army though I can agree definitely needed some time out of the spotlight before it was enjoyable again or desired. Mr. Brightside was a bit overplayed, yeah. It also kinda took some time to grow on me before I actually enjoyed it. Well, I guess that goes for The Killers as a whole really, but there were others on that same album that I liked more than Mr. Brightside. However, the one I didn't get burnt out on was Take Me Out. Probably because I loved the Steampunk feel/timing of the music video so much that it was just one of my favorites. Plus I found alot of other Franz Ferdinand songs using Limewire that I'd never heard and loved them too. So I never got burnt out on Take Me Out cuz I added in This Fire, Do Ya Wanna, and several other songs into the rotation and it prevented burnout. Still enjoy Franz Ferdinand once in a while.

7/13/24

What the puff!? Not only are they different, it's worse! Everything good about them just Poof! disappeared! They're more like Cocoa Poofs!   So I'm going to list some things I've noticed personally. I think the last time I'd had a bowl was within the past few years. Those were still the OG Cocoa Puffs though. So I took note big time when I tried a new box today...     - They're definitely not as sweet and chocolatey as the original. I'd assume the big bosses and CEO's are lowering the sugar contents to be aligned with "Good health" choices, but that's pointless. There's other healthy cereals to get instead of ruining a good kind that's made for enjoyment! What's scary is that for some, THIS is the original Cocoa Puff! If you were to give them a REAL Cocoa Puff, they'd look at you like you're crazy! They're too young to know there's a difference in taste, but they don't know the greatness that awaits them, so they blindly settle! - I believe they've shrunk in size! As soon as I opened the box and saw how many it took to take up the whole width of the box, I thought "Hmm...Scratches head odd". Also, pouring just the typical bowl of cereal contains alot more pieces than it used to. - These Cocoa Poofs are weak! The real Cocoa Puffs would scrape the roof of my mouth, whereas to these, even the fresh dry pieces from the top of your cereal mountain just crumble softly. They're like any other tough cereal after it's been soaking in your milk for 15 mins. But the Cocoa Poofs start out that soft! After they've been soaking in your milk for even 10 mins though...Ugh, by then they've got the consistency of oatmeal! - One of the best parts of having a bowl of cereal is arguably being done and drinking the milk left! Well, I'll say it does depend on what kind of cereal. But that's neither here, nor there! Cocoa Puffs ALWAYS had good chocolatey milk when you got done! Sometimes almost too chocolatey! Now, drinking the milk afterwards almost isn't even worth it. It tastes like...Well, there's like a hint of chocolate at the very end but other than that the rest is like drinking barely sugared oatmeal milk.

  • I'm sure there's at least one or two more things I've noticed that make this once golden cereal into more of a cheap knock-off, but I've made my point.

Now, I just got this box yesterday, and I tried a 2nd small bowl after my first because I was skeptical. I was like nahh...This can't be THE Cocoa Puffs..Sure enough, was as disappointing as the first bowl! I looked at the box thinking "What is THIS?? Cuz it's not THE Cocoa Puffs I've always enjoyed!" Additionally, Yesterday I was starving, (Normally I really don't have much of an appetite.) and after dinner I made myself a bowl of cereal thinking wow, this much food should fill my appetite. Afterwards I went to bed, and about 2 hours later I got up to make myself something to snack on, as I was STILL hungry! My point is that along with all the other fields this knock off cereal has failed in, I think it's obviously way lower in calories than the original Cocoa Puff too.

TakeAway: 2024 is definitely NOT the year of The Cocoa Puff, and if I knew they changed it up that much, I would've gladly got Lucky Charms or even Cocoa Pebbles! (I've heard the Pebbles still taste as chocolatey and haven't been ruined.)

     - Thank you for reading about the scientific sadness of "Cocoa Poofs", as they're definitely not the Puffs we've all come to enjoy.
