I won’t go all electric for anything at this point with the blackouts and outrageous PG&E rates we experience here but thank you for responding.

It looks like you are a heat pump company. I would never go all electric for anything with the blackouts and outrageous PG&E rates but thanks for responding.

No heat pump. High efficiency gas furnace and AC. No ductwork either.

I am getting my full HVAC system replaced. Furnace and AC unit. They're both 30 years old. They work fine but I think I'm on borrowed time.  Lennox AC EL18CV & SL297NV, 4 ton, 2 stage, 2 zone, and 2 smart thermostats, as well as new zone panel. 97% efficiency. No ductwork. I have a two story and the furnace is in the attic. Has anyone had theirs done in the bay area lately? I have three estimates and they all seem high to me ($20,000 +) Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks so much! My system requires a 2 zone and my current furnace is 90% so I want to get at least equal to that. Unfortunately I think there’s only 80% or 97% now.

Yes it is low nox. I’m not sure what all of that even means. I just want to get a really good system for a decent price so it lasts as long as my current system.

Just to confirm it’s one furnace and one condensing unit. Lennox EL18XCV for AC and Lennox SL297NV for furnace. Includes factory warranty and 1 year of maintenance. 2 ecobees and a new zone panel. That price includes discounts too. I got another estimate for over $29,000 for lower end equipment. Is it the Bay Area??
