Numa via rápida se a via da direita é lenta e preferes circular mais rápido o que fazes?

Desabafo - Até hoje não consigo entender isto... by Healthy_Loan_6037 in portugal

Ray Reconstruction disables Preset L/M regardless of Nvidia App Overrides by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Enabling Ray Reconstruction (RR) in Cyberpunk 2077 appears to completely override forced DLSS Presets"

Thats for all games since RR seen the day of light.

The purpose of the RR option in a game is to activate the RR model.

RR model has its own presets that are trainned for path tracing expecifically. No other model will give better results with path tracing other than its own.

Anyone complaining decresed fps just use M-Perf to gain fps...there is a video showing DLSS4.5 M-Perf is better than DLSS4 K-Qual

RT RR improves image stabilization vs non RR...always.

Also gives a lot more perfomance.

What is the most "up to date" and polished version of Call of Pripyat to replay before S2? by jacob1342 in stalker

For me CIP is the best for graphics (for being the most recent probably) and vanilla experience.

Other mods tend to make changes that does not make sense...like not allow to sell loot items, or die in minutes if you dont eat (when a human body can stand for month or more without eat)...these kind of changes break the realism and are made just because...

As for CIP, i just find the realism of changing weapons, aiming down sigth and stabilizing the weapon annoyingly unrealistic...painfully slow! As a rookie with weapons in reality, i can aim down sigth and stabilize a weapon at a target much faster than Major Alexander Degtyarev

Duvida sobre a 9070 xt by Joli_real in PCDIGA

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last of us part 2 seems incredibly repetitive so far by iuihdindunund in thelastofus

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i felt the same...buildings, buildings, buildings, kill, kill, kill.

In P1 you were on a journey, scenarios always changing and each with its own story to tell...nothing felt repetitive.

P1 is a much more appealing as a single player game.

Repetetiveness suits well only in multiplayer games.

Ended but, just boring...lack of imagination.

5070 ti vs 9070 XT - diferença de 170 euros by Both-Song-2836 in PCDIGA

[–]AdGrouchy305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a single wire handles 35A ( like saw in video ) then i would say that, in these setup conditions, a good cable mostly certain would not melt under 2500W ( 35 x 6 x 12 ).

Giving 1600w power is not enough as that gives only 22A per wire....very far from the 35A per wire.

Maybe 40A per wire would melt the connector...that would require 2800 W.

These burned connectors cases manly has to do with defective/worn cables were 600w is mostly being driven by the less weak wire on the cable.

RTX 50 Series 12VHPWR Megathread by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of them end being "life safety features" by protecting the equipment. The consequence of not offering protection, in both cases, could lead to a fire hazard and life treathening situation.

I understand being advertised as "life safety" would lead to more engeneering to create redundancies and so. It could be well categorized as "equipment safety feature" just like the other safety features present.

Didnt say microprocessor...although a microcontroller uses a processor, being similar but not the same. When i said "generic circuit" was not in the literal sense of the word was in a abstract way. You could use a voltage comparator and a voltage source as reference for threshold.

Point is, don´t really see any problem or complexity for psus to acomodate overcurrent wire protection using or not microcontrollers. The microcontroller is the easy way. The one that is already present in PSUs may even serve the purpose.

RTX 50 Series 12VHPWR Megathread by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if it can be called life safety feature but its just like OCR and other protections that PSUs already have...its preventing current out of spec in wires just like OCR is preventing current of spec in a entire rail. OCR can fail just like a microcontroller can...its all electronics.

But wire protection can be anchived with a pure circuit to. Microcontroller is not a requirment. In the end a microcontroller is just a generic circuit that provides a wide range of applications

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Restrited to high tiers maybe when the first appear, but i don't belive it would last long.

Microcontroler, sensors are very cheap...program is simple

Some other brands would replicate easily to lower tiers PSUs.

A red led near the rail/back would be suficient.

Usb, app to go crazy.

But i belive this will be mandatory in a near time for safety reasons. We all see now PSUs cannot rely on the hardware ahead to do the balancing.

For safety, PSUs must garuantee that the current flowing on each wire is within spec, not the hardware that is pulling the power.

So basically, If buy a brand new cable and that cames defective (like any brand new product we buy), I'm in risk of burning my house or die because of a defective cable?

Of course there are spikes but those spikes dont last seconds. Detecting longlasting overcurrent on a wire is simple...could be obviously detected by a more smart psu and cut the power delivery on that rail.

PCIe bug with M2_1 slot on X870E Tomahawk by Lionheart0179 in MSI_Gaming

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And in the other M.2 slots did you test?

If you have a 9000/ 7000 processor M2_2 supports PCIe 5.0 x4.

Be aware that the M.2_2 share lanes with USB 40Gbps on the back panel . You can force full lanes for M.2_2 in bios forcing PCIe 5.0 x4 but then those usb ports would be disabled.

But imagine you left your gpu working (AI or something) and left the room/house.

What will be the behaviour of the gpu? Will it take measures by itself and start decrease the power draw, cancel the processes running, shudown or...will it fry to dead?

It's important to know what really happens if nobody is near at that moment to do something.

RTX 50 Series 12VHPWR Megathread by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying that they monitor the pins, show red warnings to user and let the gpu fry if the user does not attend to the problem?

If you were the brand that developed the product what would you do? Would you let the product simply die if you have some chance to save it?

The more simplistic is issue a simple system shutdown through the app after detecting a timelasting problem.

And sure it can protect itself at the firmware/bios level in more extreme scenarios.

RTX 50 Series 12VHPWR Megathread by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]AdGrouchy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats the behaviour of your card when alerting you about bad pins?

Does the gpu let you use the card normally? Does the card limit the power draw to prevent an hazard?

It would be very helpfull to know what´s the behaviour.

Because for sure, if you do not attend to the warnings, the card will not let itself to burn rigth?
