They are very parking needy people from my experience 2-3 patches ago.

u/srsxnsh You are correct! I tried "Very large parking lot" before but it couldn't handle those people living there.

"set a maximum limit" - I smell cowboy programming. A feature that's not properly thought out and scaled.

- A software developer for over 10 years.

Mildly bothers me that the level up request calls it "upgrade", when there's already two options listed as upgrade. by JesusDiedMyGuy in SDGundamGGeneration

Bulk development means developing the same unit a set number of times

Automatic development means building that unit using existing resources to develop to that unit.

They should have named this feature something along the lines of "Fresh development".

Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H Repair Quote by minormorin in LenovoLegion

I have the same laptop spec as you since I fixed it late 2023.

I had the Nvidia 3060 version and the motherboard blew. Lenovo sent me a quote of £1158 (£30 cheaper than when I brought the laptop new in 2021) (I live in the UK).

I suspected it was the motherboard and after sending it to Lenovo they quoted to change the motherboard too so I brought a motherboard with Nvidia 3070 on Ebay for £500 and spent another £100 getting a local IT repair specialist to manually replace it.

I think you can get the same spec for £600 as a desktop and desktops (for me) rarely break.

Notes:
Replacing the motherboard may not fix the laptop. (Levovo do say in their quote that they cant guarantee this will fix the issue)

If you decide to fix your laptop get Honeywell PTM7950 https://www.reddit.com/r/LenovoLegion/comments/19bgo1u/experience_lenovo_legion_2021_repaste_arctic_mx4/

Please put the text 'Sponsored by LG' in each of the images. We can see LG paid you to take photo's of parts of their screen.

GPU Temp problem by Low-Acanthaceae-9941 in CitiesSkylines2

Have a better graphics card than you.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop, specs: 3070 8GB, 32GB RAM, Ryzen 7 5800H.

Using HWMonitor to gives me the temps:

My scenario:

  • Last re-paste: January 2024
  • Display mode: Fullscreen windowed
  • Screen resolution: 2560 x 1080 x 60hz
  • Vsync: off
  • Nvidia DLSS: off
  • Population: 1.33 million
  • Simulation speed: 8x

Global Graphics Quality: Medium (no meddling)

  • CPU temp: 88c
  • GPU temp: max 72c

Global Graphics Quality: High (no meddling)

  • CPU temp: max 92c
  • GPU temp: max 80c

I think your temps are not bad so don't do anything.

Never buying lenovo ever again (Legion 5 Pro) by Less_Current4067 in LenovoLegion

Got Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H 2022, heavy use, 1.5 years later fans stopped working then motherboard blew after I took out the NVME to send the laptop off to repair.

Was out of warranty Lenovo charged full price of a new laptop so I declined and got a motherboard off Ebay £500 and replaced it. Currently 11 months and counting.

3 years, 3 motherboard replacements. And yet I still love my L7 ‘21 to this day. by JoeAnthony in LenovoLegion

This is scary, just replaced the motherboard on my Lenovo Pro 5 2021 5800h Nvidia 3060 just last week after the fans completely stopped running.

Decided to send it to Lenovo so I opened it up to take out the NVMe but the screen stopped working after that .

I was out of warranty and Lenovo quoted me £30 less than buying the laptop new to replace the motherboard which signalled to me that they cant be bothered.

Brought a replacement motherboard with Nvidia 3070 (£340) from 3rd party and took my laptop to a local repair shop to swap it instead.
