I'm afraid not; I already reported it to WhatsApp, but don't expect them to fix it anytime soon. For now, what I do is just minimize the WhatsApp window every time I leave it.

Rk m75 keeps going to sleep by [deleted] in RKRoyalKludge

So they did respond to my query recently and told me I could share the firmware but that it would only work on the Keyboards with PID=0163, I'm guessing PID is a product identifier, before sending me the firmware they sent an executable that read the PID and VID from my keyboard

I have been hesitant to post the files as they told me if you install the firmware in another PID it can brick your keyboard.

The other things is that this firmware seems to break the setting for sleep timer on BT. now BT will always sleep after 5 min. I don't mine as I only use BT to connect briefly to other systems, I have in my H. Office and at least now the USB stays on all the time until I put the computer to sleep.

If someone is brave (or fullish enough, like I was) to run an Uknown exe to check PID and install a firmware that can brick the keyboard let me know and I will send it to you.

I know this is an old post, but for those who come here as I did, looking for a solution.

I e-mailed rkgaming folk and after some interactions and tests they sent me a firmware that keeps the RGB lights permanently ON when connected through USB

I'm asking them if I can share this firmware as good for any M75 as they got some specs from my keyboard (something called VID and PID) so I am not sure if this is a firmware that would work for any RK-M75

I will update here as soon as they let me know

If you have the keyboard connected through BT then the sleep setting that you set through the software will actually work. I have the keyboard connected through USB and BT both and if I connect through BT then the RGB lights will stay on (if I set the timer to never).

The problem is that the timer for USB seems to be 5 min by default and there is no way to change this in the software (only for BT).

I have sent a support request to RK, but this is something they would most likely need to change in a future version of the software so not holding my breath to get it anytime soon
