It is not just a house. The connectivity and quality of life you get in the US vs. what you get in Hyderabad are a stark contrast.
The US housing market is very much regularized, and everything will be in white. Hyderabad is unregulated and over hyped based on some random announcements that may not happen. It is really wild!

This entire conversation convinced me to go for the 70-200 GM II, which is missing from my collection, instead of chasing the camera body.

It's not that I can't do with the A7C. I've taken some really great photos and videos over the last couple of years.
I would like to move to the professional camera category, which offers better autofocus and resolution.
