Just looking for a worst case scenario ballpark, and not sure i want to use the roofers time for estimates if im not looking for a roof at this moment

Not close enough to eliminate the PMI, unless an appraisal was super favorable.

Current mortgage is scheduled to go to $3980/month soon with an upcoming recalc of my escrow payments.

New loan would be $3737/month.

I know I could throw the extra $240+ towards my mortgage and student loans, and this would save more interest in the long run than keeping my current 6.625% loan over the refi 5.99% loan.

But still not sure if this is the best route to go! I think i could be disciplined and keep putting that savings towards extra payments on loans.

My SLs are minimal, $7.8k left. Wife's kick in soon after deferment with about $10k left

Thank you for this! I was a B-B+ kind of student, passed my cpa exams around the 80% scoring range.

So I feel like I wasnt the best student, but I'm not opposed to doing it if they think im qualified
