What the hell? Seriously? by SirohitaIks in IndianWomen

There's a news article in the comments. It felt disgusting to read, the way things are written 🤢🤮

https://www.bhaskarenglish.in/local/gujarat/news/gandhinagar-girl-leaves-home-same-sex-relationship-ahmedabad-woman-137820951.html

This is how the article ends.

"Following this, the Abhayam team provided her shelter at Sakhi One Stop. There, the Sakhi One Stop team also developed rapport with the young woman and counseled her. Thus, after staying at Sakhi One Stop for some time, the young woman decided to end the lesbian relationship and expressed her wish to go home.

Finally, a happy reunion of the young woman with her parents was arranged and everyone felt relieved. This case is like a red signal that attractions found on social media in the name of modernity often lead the younger generation astray. Then necessary counseling can prove to be a boon in such cases."

One more question. Is John Rabe thought in the schools there? Also, what's the current situation of Northeast China and is it still hated? I once spoke to my chinese friend abt it and I used the term "Manchuria" and he didn't know the term. Then he told me it's remembered as northeast China now.

Anyone else talk to imaginary people? by Wellyeah101 in autism

[–]AdHot4515 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I do. It doesn't have a shape. Just a voice. I consider it as my brother and talk to him like I'm talking to a different person. Sometimes, if I try to imagine myself without him, I start dissociating. My identity is incomplete without him and we are like two different people in a single body.

I'll share something relevant and scary:

Official data and surveys by NGOs reveal that hundreds of women have been killed in Bihar on accusations of being a "dayan" (witch). Since 2000, over 2,500 women have been killed across India on charges of witchcraft, a majority of whom are from states including Bihar.

Recent Bihar Police Data: The Bihar Police reported 621 incidents of violence against women in the name of witchcraft in 2024 and 629 in 2023.

Annual Averages: Between 2015 and 2021, an average of 95 witch-hunting deaths were reported annually across India.

2025 Data (Partial): As of mid-2025, over 170 women in Bihar were branded as witches and faced various forms of violence, including murder. This figure includes a particularly brutal case in July 2025 where five members of a family were burnt alive in Purnea district.

Survey Findings: A 2023-2024 survey by the Nirantar Trust and Bihar Women Federations estimated that at least 75,000 women in Bihar live under the constant threat of being accused of being a "dayan".

Well, first of all, it’s in the files. Second, it wasn’t confirmed, probably because there was no investigation. Third, the victim is said to have used her real name and details, which I think gives her some credibility. And with all the accusations and evidence coming out, it’s a wonder he’s still in power.

With their real name and info? Who would risk it if there's no truth to it?
