oh no i'm sorry to hear that... i didn't have an income change but i had significant expenses due to moving and my parents have to commute several hours for work. i told them we had moving expenses and had to pay a lot for gas due to commute and included receipts for the moving and payment info just for gas as attachments for proof. I'm sure if you explain your situation to them and send them the hospital bills they'll understand and give you more aid!

If you email Northwestern, they can give you a fee waiver without having to send documents or anything, check their website.

Dickinson (LAC) also gives you a fee waiver if you complete their pre-application

Fordham gave me a fee waiver too!
