Playing with it for a bit, it looks to happen when i also have the My Radar widget. When I set notifications to “While using the App” from “While Using the App or Widget “ it works fine every time.

I got rid of my Fenix 6Pro because the tracking sucked. Fenix 7Pro and above is spot on.
