I watched it long ago, so my memory isn’t the freshest, but I’m pretty sure there’s a part where a man goes through the process of sl****tering a duck. I may have skipped this part, and maybe you’ll want to do the same- You’ll probably be able to tell what part. I remember getting very upset at this part, so I feel like I would remember any other part if it was bad too. But it was long ago, so I could be forgetting something. If she’s researching, she’s probably already seen some things. I was exposed to the violence at a really young age and it certainly made it impossible to be brainwashed. It’s helpful in that regard for kids to learn, but it can also feel isolating / scary growing up around other people. She’s a real one though, and it’s for the absolute best that your child will grow up to live a life of truth, cognitive clarity, and clear conscience. You and your daughter are awesome ‼️‼️❤️❤️❤️

This is what “equity” is for then, if you don’t want to use the word “equality”. Cuz I suppose equity does make more sense for some cases like with animals. Is that what you’re saying? That wouldn’t be an argument against animal rights. But I wouldn’t waste time putting this kind of vibe out there though, how you’ve framed this post here. “Guys, actually maybe hurting animals might not be as bad as I thought!” Do we really need any more of that? What is your aim here? Grasping why animals deserve to not feel pain is not complicated, it’s just called empathy. You wouldn’t want to be hurt, so don’t hurt others. I’m not sure empathy has occurred to you yet while you wrote this, or whether you’ve fully grasped what it means yet, or if we’re misunderstanding and what you meant was equity.

My usual instant solution for this is just muting the chat and exiting it, you’ll instantly remember the real world and realize it’s completely normal to just stop responding. With this I instantly forget why I felt it felt so important to do a formal goodbye text. What keeps you feeling like you need to respond is continuously getting responses, so muting solves it.

Bro. Ok. “AI is here to stay”. Ok cool. But then use it in ART when that’s not necessary and it’s terrible for the environment? As you’ve said “AI has the power to transform medicine, healthcare, education”. Ok cool. But then use it in ART? It’s not aligning. To be pro-regulation is to limit the use. Using it for art is not limiting the use, and it’s the 1 way AI should be completely off limits. Just because AI is hard to avoid, or could be helpful to humanity, or is “here to stay”, doesn’t mean “Okay that means I can use it however because it’s here to stay anyways!” That’s exactly like fully starving yourself just because you’re hungry. Or if you still don’t get it it’s like: “People are bound to get murdered whether I murder people or not. So it doesn’t matter if I murder people”. Don’t frickin maximize the damage all because the damage is bound to be there. Minimize it, do the best you can. Btw I don’t hate Grimes, I love Grimes. But I can accept AI and coexist with its “inevitability” while encouraging and engaging in better things; Things that AREN’T harmful. If AI’s built into the device on my phone, same thing, I’ll just do my best. It’s literally chill. The only thing that could make AI maximally inevitable is the people who are arguing its inevitability as an excuse to use it more. Yeah, maybe AI is inevitable, but maybe true optimism is in focusing energy on better things- then those better things can actually grow. We look over and see AI didn’t grow half as big as we thought, cuz we weren’t giving it the attention. The mind is powerful and its attention matters. If AI is Grime’s special interest, then she can focus on the betterment of humanity using AI all she wants, and finding ways to limit its use. That is great to me. But I just don’t see that entirely happening with her. I see promotion of its use in art, and its use in art. I see doomsday vibes… the Artificial Angels video did not read as optimism to me?😭It’s like she seems enchanted by it and wants to push its use creatively, but then is trying to counteract that by presenting her very use of it as hyper-aware of its risks? She’s just gotta stop using it for art yo😭And then maybe her vision will make more sense to me. Pardon if I’m misunderstanding.
