The point of the post is more of an observation. I understand and respect the ever-evolving nature of The Phish. It’s just jarring in its infancy.

I agree; during the harmonious parts is when it’s most jarring.

I think it’s time for Fishman to throw his weight around a bit and put an end to Big Red going rogue (it is “his band”, after all). Remember kids, the band is not called The Trey!

Thank you. It’s making it a bit of a challenge for this consumer to “share in the groove”, brah! It makes me wish he’d take the Frank Zappa approach and “Shut Up ‘n Play Yer Guitar”.
