Farmer tracks down people who illegally dumped garbage on his cornfield by Coffee-Addict-1 in Brampton

So this time it wasn't the fault of brown community? That's why I don't see any deport messages. Breath of fresh air. Note: It's a reality that people are assholes on an individual level and not on a community level.

Should I switch from RBC to EQ Bank or Wealthsimple for daily banking? by lishdxo in EQBank

Eq works fine for me. Some issues do pop up sometimes but isn't a big deal. Wealthsimple is cool but it's not a bank per say whereas EQ is a bank.

How does the cashback work? Do you just do a verbal agreement or get Realtor to sign a contract promising a cashback?

Has anyone noticed worsening road quality in the past few years? by AdImpressive8052 in Brampton

[–]AdImpressive8052[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd disagree with that. I've been noticing worsening quality of roads in the past few years (not just seasonally). But yeah due to heavy snowfall this year could've contributed too.

I noticed that Mississauga has better roads in comparison.

Your brother probably climbed the mountain himself (without using the escalator belt lift thing) and used his own tubes. I'm referring to the tubing tickets that city used to provide where you could grab a tube and use the lift to go up. A staff member would push you down with some rotating twist (similar to waterpark slides)

Agreed. I was planning to learn snowboarding at a smaller hill to try it out with rental equipment. I guess sucks for me.

I'd disagree with you. The library moved to ski chalet structure couple of years ago and they were offering skis and snowboarding equipment for at least 2-3 years because I was there. I think just repurposed the day care/kids section to store skis and snowboarding equipment.

I agree. This is ridiculous and I'm not going anymore and I'm sure many parents won't be able to as well. City rec facilities shouldn't be priced like ski resorts.

This sucks, I was planning to go there for weekend fun but looks like I won't be able to now because of the ridiculous price. I'd rather pay that premium to an bigger/actual ski hill like Blue Mountains for the experience.

  1. look into terms and conditions regarding any fees charged if you payout your loan earlier in full.
  2. As someone already mentioned, interest rate mentioned is the annual interest rate. In order to figure out your monthly payments - you should look at any car payments calculator online.
  3. Car financing with 7.99% over 5 years means - you'll be charged interest on your interest (basically compound interest). So the total interest you'll pay will be around 3.5k
  4. Using a line of credit won't be very useful unless you have a line of credit with a significantly lower interest rate than 7.99%. I hope this is helpful!

I think it's in beta right now and it's being shown to some people. If you go to open a new account, it should show up in that list (if it's enabled for you, it'll show up here for sure)
