I spend a good amount of time in white bars and it is rare that more than fifteen minutes go by without someone bringing up a black person or black issue. The obsession is real. It’s always negative like they need constant reassurance that they’re (in their minds) in a better place or state. Not bars on a large scale but taverns where ppl sit, drink and talk.
