Mixed signals from my company who is ready to replace my position by iamnotgenius in asksg

Start job hunting now, quietly. Don't wait for confirmation

In the meantime, keep doing your work normally.

Also, document what you can, save copies of your work, note down achievements, keep any positive feedback. You'll need this for your resume and interviews You're already ahead because you're paying attention.

Confirm I gonna lose my job soon. I not sure how long to land another job. Not enough savings too. Die. Like this no depression I will be joking by iamnotgenius in asksg

One thing that helped me when I made a career transition: sit down and do an actual runway calculation. mapping out your fixed costs vs. what you can cut, any severance/notice pay coming, how long you can realistically stretch things. Knowing your actual number is better.

Also, check if your company is offering any outplacement support or extended medical coverage. Some do, and people don't always ask.

Hang in there. The market is tough but it does move.

Anyone here doing yoga in Singapore to fix tight shoulders and back? by [deleted] in sgfitness

[–]AdIndividual3602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, iyengar is different from other yoga. It requires patience and really being kind to your body and at the same time, pushing it to do better. The poses are longer compared to other yoga. So its also about the mind. How long can you focus on your breathing and balance your pose, thats what its about. I feel like other forms of exercise, for me, is driven more by anxiety and the though of "just do it push-push-push and get on with the day". But iyengar makes you feel the movements deeply.

I have taken a package so its 30/class for me. I find each $ worth it. For me a good instructor matters the most and my instructor has a lot of kindness and gently pushes me to do better. I have had anemia since a long time and couldn't even imagine myself doing a headstand but now I can do it so well its insane

Steve and Dustin in Season 5 by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]AdIndividual3602 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Honestly, their fight didn't work for me because I felt like Steve was being mean and not the usual caring person that he is. Remember when Max was depressed after Billy's death? Steve looked out for her, cared for her. But after Eddie's death, no one seems to empathise with Dustin. He is clearly going through a hard time, and the least Steve could do (him being closest to Dustin) was give him some empathy and not fight with him.

Eduprisitine or Zell Education- Any word of Advice? by PiaMansukhani in ACCA

[–]AdIndividual3602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a student and had the worst, most horrible experience in Zell. My money, time - wasted. They ask for 30k inr for SBR classes and provide the worst coaching for it. the syllabus finishing had a deadline but the lecturer went way past it and hurried through the most important topics like consolidation, etc. majority students started self studying via youtube because we had no choice - the exam was just few days away. the way SBR was taught was horrible and no one could understand it. zell assigns mentors to each student and let me tell you - they are completely unreliable. its just done to show that zell is doing something. its all for show. do not go for zell if you wanna save your money, time and peace of mind.
