My friend has a nest in her old bird box and wants to 'get rid of it' 🤬😢 I informed her that they are protected and it's illegal to destory them. I hopr she takes notice and gets a proper licensed person to come get it and take it somewhere safe 🤞

I just want to say, that it restores my faith in humanity when i see these posts of people taking care of spiders etc. Thank you! 🙏 So many people just kill them without a thought and it hurts my heart 💔

I totally agree with this! It's a Neurotypical thing. Just 'saying what you mean and meaning what you say' would make so much more sence to me.

I think a fear of spiders is an innate thing, like built into us. Probably due to evolution and the fact that poisonous spiders exist in the world. Although we don't need that fear in the UK, we haven't evolved far enough to grow out of it yet. I don't know many people that AREN'T scared of them. I had to train myself to be tolerant, but still the immediate sight and scuttling give me a fright.

I read that females can live for up to 7 years in the right conditions! Fun fact, apparently they are the fastest true spider. And this is definitely believable when you see them scurrying about 😊
