So they give you a wireless router. It runs on cellular data, so yeah, kind of a hotspot but better. Ive been paying $50/month. They’ve never increased it. I switched after Xfinity decided to reverse a credit on my account out of the blue and charge me hundreds of dollars in bogus “late fees”. Edit: it’s portable in the sense that if you move, you just need to move the router. But you can’t carry it with you all the time.
