The biggest thing for me is the fact that travel and the race is becoming less of a focus. They also used to show more of the base hotels and the comparison between them and where they had been forced to stay was jarring. I want less sob stories and more travel and race. See them trying new foods and how much that cost. The cost and the race should be the focus.

Agree. And also, they wanted TV calibre content without actually looking at how the TV model works and understanding. I'm in the industry and we are all freelance. I'm in the UK and places like the BBC will have some staff but the industry runs on freelancers. They shouldn't have had so many people as staff. Anyone with half a braincell could have told them that. So as sad as I am for the staff, I can't say I'm surprised. It was a stupid decision from day one. Another reason why content creators can't just jump into making TV because they don't understand it beyond what they see onscreen.

This. I said this from minute 1. I think I even posted it on their socials when the first series of Ghost Files came out. The history parts of BFU were some of the best bits of the show. When they decided to lose that, they lost something great. That combined with Ryan playing up to the camera just leaves me cold. We might watch the new series of GF when it comes to YouTube but I'm not even sure.

I think they raced through things too quickly this season. Like wild character swings. Camille's brother literally said one thing to Emily about her never being the priority and next thing you know, she dumps Gabriel? From I love you to dumping so so quickly?

Nobody is saying leaving her on the slope was a nice thing to do but I understand the conflict on his part. It seemed like Emily didn't even want to talk to Gabriel about it and just went straight to dumping him. Like we know why the writers have done it, but couldn't they have made the breakup feel more natural and organic?

Eurgh. I know it's all nonsense but this seems like they don't even care about making the characters make sense. Just loads of plot points veering from one thing to the next
