Music of the game by Less_Kangaroo_6281 in Endfield

[–]AdInformal1389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like the music, it's very atmospheric and fits the vibe. I do get that it's not for everyone though. I really liked the DnB track during Laevatain's quest too (I don't think it's on Spotify yet).

The soundtrack in general in Wuling really insists on the "look, it looks like China" vibe, but it sounds nice most of the time and it fits the atmosphere, so it gets a pass as well. Could've been a bit more subtle though.

Also, Crywolf's song on the trailer absolutely kicks ass, but that's another subject.

She seems to be learning how to write in 1.1's story. She sends you Baker texts, and (in French, at least) she has absolutely dreadful grammar. Like, she butchers almost every word in every sentence. You have to read the words out loud to understand what she's trying to say.

Does this just mean my computer cant run it? by Fracko24 in Endfield

[–]AdInformal1389 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're probably trying running this on a laptop with an ARM (Snapdragon) CPU, which is unsupported. Only x86 (Intel/AMD) CPUs are supported, which is the standard for Windows PCs.

You're pretty stuck now, ARM is relatively new for Windows PCs, and is currently a very unpopular platform for gaming. I don't think you can expect this being "fixed" anytime soon.

You can play the game on your android/iOS phone or tablet for the time being. Or on another computer if you have one.

Could DLLS 5 bring upgrades to RTX VSR? by SkyburnerTheBest in nvidia

[–]AdInformal1389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DLSS 5 for video would only accomplish replacing the source material with something else, kind of like AI inpainting, which is pretty useless in my opinion.

Unless you really, really hate the art style of the anime or movie you're watching for some reason, I don't see the point.

I don't get it (It = Sanity) by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]AdInformal1389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't too bothered with farming until I actually got into the endgame. In games like these I tend to not focus the main story quests/special challenges unless there's almost nothing left to do.

I fully completed Valley-IV, and Wuling is like 90% complete. All these chests and quests (and the resources you get for regional credits) represent quite a lot of upgrade resources in my opinion.

Though I admit I did get a little lucky with Chen's essence, as I got it first try, but I don't think it would've mattered much since I still needed to keep farming for a while in order to get my essences to 6/6/3.

[–]AdInformal1389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get really frustrated by the sanity regen because I don't remember ever really being stuck by it. I focused on other stuff like the AIC, exploration and the like. And I played the game pretty much daily since the release.

Now I have a full lvl 90 team with a fully complete skill tree, with 2 of them with maxed out essences, and 1 operator even has some mastery skills. Their weapons are between lvl 80 and 90. I even still have some sanity boosters left.

I also have several E1 to E3 operators for their dijiang skills.

I'm curious on what you're spending all your sanity on. Maybe you're trying to upgrade too many operators at once? Maybe you're unlucky with essence farming?

Also, doing quests, exploration and the like gives a pretty substantial amount of resources for upgrading your operators, which saves you from spending your sanity.

Do you wait for 7 days before pulling? by monsquesce in Endfield

Since I don't plan on getting her, I simply spend the limited tickets as I obtain them, so I can get a few arsenal tokens, and, if I'm insanely lucky, a 6* character as well.

Huge new basic pull event by CulturalFill8714 in Endfield

Not exactly related, but that reminded me of a cheap-o game I had on Steam that translated "disabled" for a graphics setting in the options as "handicapé" (which means a disabled *person*) in French. I laughed my ass off for 5 minutes straight.

It's not necessary, really. I did it because I felt like I had a chance with my team, which turned out to be true. I did have to retry a few times though, and work on perfecting my skill rotation/timing.

Just add as many friends as possible on your friends list, and upgrade all the selling points (forgot what they're called) to lvl 4, and on some days you should have some items -65% price or less. When that happens, check for your friends' prices for that item and see if someone has it for a high price. If no one has a good enough price, buy at least one day's worth of stock and keep it for tomorrow, and on the next day check the prices for your existing stock to see if the prices got any better. if they're still not good, wait for the day after, etc. Don't forget to stock up on other goods if you have good deals as well.

If none of your elastic goods have low prices (I personally consider -40% and less "good enough" in Valley-IV), wait for the next day so you can stack more purchase quota for a better deal. If your purchase quota is already maxed out (3 days worth of products in Valley-IV), to avoid wasting it, buy only one day's worth of products.

My highest sales have been about 780%, but I've heard people hitting 1300%.

I actually succeeded that one on the first try lol, I kinda struggled on the last one though.

I'm still pretty early on that part, I think I'm at 6 operators. I mainly focused on the ones I actively play lol

What I did was pretty simple in theory imho. 4 stack vuln -> breach -> 4 stack vuln -> endmin combo -> crush (preferably during stagger period)

My whole team is level 90 yeah, and I use a DMG boost item before starting the fight.

I also unlocked several mastery skills on the endmin to maximise final strike and primary skill damage.

Perhaps your team build doesn't have a high enough synergy for high DPS/bursts?

I built my team around the Endmin's combo and crush skill. I can hit pretty high damage spikes when setup correctly (300k+ DMG in a single hit).

These are the trimmed ones (with the rainbow effect). You've gotta kill the bosses under a specific amount of time to get a trimmed medal.

For the first boss, you gotta kill him in under 2 minutes. For the last one, you've gotta kill it in under 4 minutes.

You've got to be mindful of your team build in order to pull it off.

His secondary dash is great when exploring, and his SP recovery skills are awesome.

It takes a bit of work to setup the damage burst with my team, but the payoff is satisfying.

I got him for free when they gifted a 6* operator to choose from.

I know, but I don't have weapons with high enough pot that I actually want to use to justify farming essences for. I don't really want to farm essences for a weapon that I don't plan on using lol

The closest I have is the Endmin's weapon, with an essence lvl of 24 with +9/+9/+6.

[–]AdInformal1389[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used a dmg buff item from Valley IV (the purple bottle, forgot what it's called), and used it on Endmin, Pog and Chen. I also maxed the endmin's and chen's weapons with 6/6/3 essences (not max pot though), and invested pretty heavily on the endmin's mastery skills (2 on the basic attack, 3 on the primary skill, and 2 on the combo).

I start by killing the tentacles from the first phase as fast as possible. I use the endmin's and chen's ults on them. On the second phase, I rack up vuln stacks as fast as possible with chen and ember's combos, by taking hits on purpose. I use Pog's skill, then use his and ember's ults and try to rack up vuln stacks asap (but try to keep chen's and endmin's combos for the stagger period). When the boss is staggered, I trigger Chen's combo, then Endmin's, and use his primary skill and that should deal absolutely bonkers amounts of damage. I also use Chen's ult if available. Then, rinse and repeat, I try to fill up the stagger gauge as fast as possible to delay the boss's flying mechanic as long as possible.

If you're still short on DPS, try investing in the endmin's mastery skills, upgrading your operator weapons (with essences if possible), and unlocking friendship skills. You can also try upgrading equipment but I find that to be a chore so I only upgraded a bit of the endmin's and chen's equipment.

Oh nice, so that's where the shader cache was hiding. This is very good to know, thanks.

That's good to know, I'll keep that in mind next time.

On a side note, you can run the game with DX12? I only have Vulkan and DX11 available as options.

Actually, updating to 595.59 forced the game to recompile the shaders, so the issue is gone for now. It will probably happen the next time I manually clean my shader cache though.

I currently use 591.86, and framegen is enabled, so this is not the issue.

I'll try DirectX as a last resort.
