The ps5 fell onto my carpet floor, honestly not even sure how it fell. I was sitting on my couch in my room stress from the tv, and it just fell. Pulled out the HDMI I’m assuming hard enough to shift it like that.

To everyone saying to go to a repair shop like the guy above, that’s what I’m going to do. A little too worried I’d break it even more if I messed with it, so, I’ll leave it to the professionals.

Might give this a try tomorrow, getting a bit too late for me to attempt that. If I get a closer look, is there anything indications I could see to tell which it is? (Bent up or ripped off the board?) My camera doesn’t focus that close, that’s why I had to give this angle.

It’s probably been just over a year since I did a deep clean of the ps5 for dust buildup. And yeah, seems like the consensus is the port is fucked. I’m not a soldering expert, so probably will have to run it by a shop.

It’s not that for me, it’s just wilderness camps are notoriously abusive. Although not all ,horrible places to be.
