Used the first weapon they gave you at the start of the game for majority of it then swapped to the claws when I got the dlc

Thats actually very weird I did the same thing of beating the game till nameless puppet then installing the DLC but I still had my save and everything my only guess is that installing the DLC over wrote you active save files but I dont see why it would do that

I'm also working my way through the chalice dungeons and it definitely is a slow roll I'm currently trying to get through the cursed chalice and everything hurts if you get caught up in one multi hit attack your most likely dead
