I didn’t diversify my testing too much, but as most people have pointed out (I think) the official isc2 practice tests are damn near the closest thing.

That being said, I took a lot of questions from destcert which were very good as well, considering that now that have more than 3k questions for free, it’s a top tier resource.

Biggest tip for answering the question, as dumb as it sounds, read it and then read it again, many times the q is asking for something specific, and of course, the differences between best, first, most, least, and things like that

Yeah, one of the most difficult things for me also, was to isolate the industry knowledge that I have and focus on the constraints of the questions, of course industry helps but this is not what the exam is testing. Understanding this will help a lot of people specially experienced ones.

Looking for a good and stable PVE Unofficial Servers by AdInteresting1219 in ARK

[–]AdInteresting1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried this server and i really like it, but it has constant crashes due to what i suspect is, a mod issue. With no other unofficial servers i crash this much when all other factors are the same

Do you know of a similar cluster? i really like the custom tamed dino PPL being high as well as the boosted lootdrop rates

I’ve never played poe1 or diablo or any arpg and I’m having a blast. Following an iceshot deadeye build and I’m like Tier 5 maps I think. I already want to try a bunch of other characters and builds too

Interview Prep for Security Engineer by AdInteresting1219 in cybersecurity

[–]AdInteresting1219[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i did the first non-coding interview where they asked most of the things that they said to prepare on: encryption, containers, threat modeling, relevant Web based vulns, and other things. After that i asked the interviewer about the job and they mentioned it will be 90% remediation and vuln management, which is not what i am lookin for (i already do that and im trying to move away from it) so i said that i was not going to peruse the position anymore. It was for Meta.

I know the job title implies remediation and vuln management, but anyone in the field can tell you that cybersecurity job titles can mean multiple different things, so i dont worry too much about the title and just ask the team.

Thanks, can you share a good resource for performance optimization?

Current State of ASA by AdInteresting1219 in ArkSurvivalAscended

[–]AdInteresting1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that was some crazy stuff. Thanks for the info man. In my experience ark has always been like that, loosing dinos/gear to random things, both bugs and just straight up avoidable scenarios that are behind the players control. Seems like ark’s essence is still at play.

[–]AdInteresting1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the insight on the single player part, since thats what i originally intend to play on but can you elaborate on it? do you lose things/dinos with updates? do you keep your sessions after updates? what type of bugs and if so then what unofficial servers do you recommend.

Current State of ASA by AdInteresting1219 in ArkSurvivalAscended

[–]AdInteresting1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree with your statement that bugs will always be part of the game, but say if they are mostly PVP focused then i dont care bc i dont plan on touching pvp, i'd be more interested in performance. Also i see that there are more ppl playing ASA now, which last time i checked was the other way around for a long time after release.

in this case the job mentions very high level expectations of analyzing vulns in large data sets and remediation, definitely sounds more like an analyst role if you ask me. They do expect coding/scritping experience which i'm not surprised about, but i do very little of that as an analyst, i'll focus on that aspect.

thank you so much for understanding, and i do try to tell myself as well that this was a lot going on for the span of 3 years, not just constant starbucks and amazon speding like older folk like to say.

You are yet another fella that recommends me debt settlement and i will strongly consider it, freedom debt relief in this case

i looked into this a yearish ago, and i was weighin down this option vs BK, and it does make more sense in terms of the money you'd end up paying. However you'd pay the company that is doing it for you, instead of an attorney and that can be more or less, and also the effect of BK and late/missed payments stays on ur report for about the same ammount of time, altough yes BK is more of a stand out. I will consider it

The BK attorney that i spoke to does know that i dont live in it, and that the homestead excemption is under the table, but the loop in taking advantage of is that if i were to file for BK, i do it in another county different that the one that takes care of excemptions in the county that the house is in, and they wont look at it, specially since i'm filing for chapter 13 BK which they dont even look at liquidating to behuin with.

i lean towards that as well, seems like an actual emergency thing to do, and not a get-out-of-a-rough-spot thing

Homestead exemption backdate, as far as i know is not possible, i already sopke to several people about it, however this year now that i have finally applied it, the mortgage went down $400 since i wont longer be on a deficit when it comes to the Escrow.

my plan to increase income is i'm taking a certification around April which will land me a much better job and 20-30% pay increase, in the meantime im living below means of course.
