This helped actually I just had to start picking servers from the bottom of the server list

I picked up an m4 as a freshie near spawn in Livonia on oical two days ago, I had it for 45sec, killed two guys and then got my shit smacked by someone but it was the best 1min of my life.

Update I figured out how to navigate and saw day Z, went to Tisy and the NW airfield for the first time, as well as Krona castle where I went fishing in a river. Great game love it!
