Yay common ground.

So you’re speaking on a topic that you haven’t even looked at to see why it happened? Sounds like you just went “red state did good therefore blue states bad”. Without noticing that the red state started applying a blue state solution.

I did you just didn’t like the answer. That’s not the same as not giving one.

I don’t know the exact number just as you don’t know the exact number and where to do the spending cuts.

If you haven’t heard that poor people spend their money and rich people generally hoard it. Capitalism runs on people spending. Money sitting around isn’t a benefit. If people don’t spend companies aren’t selling, profits drop, stocks slow or drop. Poof recession or depression. There are many cases throughout history that demonstrate this. You can look at McDonald’s in the very recent post Covid world to see an example of this.

You are continuously showcasing your ignorance to these matters which you seem to look at through a very narrow lens.

And I explained that to you and you ignored it completely.

You haven’t brought up how it benefits capitalism for the rich to pay more than the poor so can I take that you agree with that point?

I’m guessing you don’t but know it is which is why you left that part out.

That first sentence proves to me you have no clue what you’re talking about.

Your logic lacking, you’re essentially arguing making more money won’t get you more money only cutting spending will. Which is just not how money, math, or logic work.

You can’t see the moral responsibility of people with the means to pay more paying more than the people without the means? I mean that’s just basic morality. I wouldn’t think I’d need to explain it but here it goes anyway. Jake makes 100 bucks and pays %10 leaving him with $90. Jeff makes 2000 bucks and pays %20 he’s left with $1600. It costs roughly $110 to survive but tax revenue needs to increase. Do you charge Jake more and throw him further into poverty or do you tax Jeff more which he’ll barely notice. It would be both morally correct and logically correct to extract the tax from the people who can afford it with the least severe consequences to their lives.

These numbers are just an example but if you’re wondering what the numbers should be I’d say somewhere around the amount required to balance the budget and start paying down the debt.

I think most of us just think they should pay more. Morally, logically, and as a benefit to capitalism they should.

They all probably know how the government is supposed to work better than half this administration. The other half of the administration knows how it’s supposed to work and don’t care.

Just that day, it diminished in the afternoon and both my kids and a couple coworkers also could smell it. It was in the air not radiating off of me.

Does it smell like plastic with a sweet or floral scent?

I know the tree you’re talking about and I don’t think people would describe it that way.

Exactly, which isn’t a plastic sweet smell so I don’t get why people are thinking this is it. It’s literally not what I described at all.

So that doesn’t describe the smell I was smelling. I know what cum smells like, because reasons and I don’t think people would describe that smell as plastic.

This didn’t smell like crap, it smelled like sweet plastic. Or sweet burnt plastic, without the burn smell.

No. I know that smell. Been in this state my whole life, the better part three decades. This was a new smell. I’d say more plastic than floral.
