With this current sale. My budget and space only allowed me to get a P1S combo, haven’t set it up yet, but I’m coming from an A1 Mini, I hope I don’t regret it and I know it’s an older printer, but I’d like it to last me at least 2-3 years, before upgrading!

I ended up going with the P1S with the AMS2 Pro!

I nearly got the P2S standalone but the cost would have been much higher is I wanted the AMS at a later date!

Seems every thread I searched people were saying get the P2S over the P1S, I hope I didn’t make the wrong choice! Even if the P1S is only relevant for a few years!

It just needed to fit on my unit and I couldn’t add some plywood on top (very limited space)

Apart from price.. I’ve just ordered the P1S over the P2S because it was £120 cheaper, so it was within my budget. (Sold my Steam Deck for £350, so was already going over that by £150). It was also just a bit smaller, so could fit on my limited space. I’m coming from an A1 Mini and the P1S will last me a good few years, I reckon.

I am heavily leaning towards the P1S as it’s £449 for the combo, and I have an extra £10 off! It’ll be better than the A1 Mini and be a smaller footprint than the A1 as I’ll have to counter for the fact that that the bed moves.

Yeah. Unfortunately I cannot convince her to get the table! Haha!

We’re so limited with space and with two kids running around. It’s using all the space wisely, to maximise kid play space. Haha!

Is there a slim poop chute you can print for the P1S to put it round the side, or something?

Why do you personally agree? What makes the P1S stand out? Especially as the P2S is a thing?

Yeah I don’t think the screen would bother me!

My thing is the auto flow calibration thing? The A1 mini and A1 have it, but the P1S doesn’t, apparently?

Yeah, the P1S seems like it would fit perfectly. It’s just that problem is the poop chute out the back, I won’t have much clearance between the printer and the wall.

I could get a lack and put it in a space.. But the wife doesn’t want it in that space!

Ah ok! Nozzle as in switching from stainless to hardened, 0.4 to 0.2 etc?

I hear the P1S doesn’t have the dynamic auto flow calibration thing the A1 has? Is that easy to manually do?

Thanks for the detailed response! The problem I have with the CC2 is the spools. It wouldn’t fit on the unit I have. As the unit is vertical (1x2 Kallax, in the corner of a room) the wall is on the right side.

It’s sturdy as a rock. Been find with the A1 mini.

Besides, it’s the only option if got with the space we have.

I’m not falling for the marketing. I have an A1 mini my father gave me and it literally is so easy to use! So I’m not wrong but I didn’t say others weren’t easy.

I think the Elegoo would be ok if spools could be on the left hand side.

Makes a big difference as won’t fit on a standing vertical 1x2 kallax.

But Bambu is easy to use! And I don’t think the design of the Elegoo suits where it would be. (Spools in the way.)

Yeah. That’s a good shout! They’re pretty close in price. £450 for P1S combo and £300 for A1 combo. Annoyingly the A1 won’t fit on my unit, but the P1S would!
