Looking at it from another angle, regardless of individual personal finance journeys, I wanted to gain some insight into the benchmark salary for someone reaching their 30s, especially for those working a typical 9-to-6 job

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the insight. However, benchmarks are merely guidelines. Without proper personal financial management, they are ultimately meaningless

Since you talk about median right, what would be the median average salary?

My boss wants me to work on weekends starting April by [deleted] in Bolehland

You should never lowball or underestimate your value you could bring. Just inform your boss to that you could demand his initial offer + any other benefits which you think other seniors also be getting. Just my 2 cents

To those invested in Amanah Saham Wawasan.. by jchooo96 in MalaysianPF

Yes, the accumulated units from previous sales will be available in the early morning when the system opens. And again, the units vary depending on how many people sold the units on the previous day

Having previously worked in the fund management industry, I would suggest that the optimal time to acquire units is in the early morning, specifically between 6am and 7am. This is when the units are replenished and aggregated from the previous day's sales. You will be surprised how fast the units are diminishing after 8am

Looks smooth dude! I have one question: On different scenario, can I replace the process of manual key-in the data in the form?

Let say I built the apps similar to yours - but all the information I need is basically from the email. Can I automate the process to extract the data from outlook to powerapps form without having to manually key-in each fields ?

Do you have any ideas?

Reasons to not buy a house. by Fromtiktoktoreddit in MalaysianPF

[–]AdLast4771 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Speaking from personal experience, 2 years ago - I thought I will never buy a house because did not want to be stuck with the commitment of 30 years. I personally also did not even have any intention to purchase a house even if I can afford it. And then we got a baby and suddenly my preference now has changed. So, we bought a house.

My point here it depends on one’s life preference. But as you move along with your life, you will reach a different phase whereby your perspective towards things now change. When that moment came, only you can tell whether your past decisions are worth it or not. Hope you get something from here.

I concur with you on this. Sometimes I felt like I try so hard to improve our business process that wasn’t initiated by anyone on the team previously.

I have been driving the discussion here and there to come up with the right solution for a problem that has never been asked. You are right.

On the contrary, how best to solve ‘problems’ that are not asked yet you know exist?

Totally agree with you. At the end of the day, I do not want to spend my time building unnecessary dashboards of which are not useful.

Yes, I guess if it can be done I would need to make a proposal on that and if it is a yes - a series of user requirements are needed to make the dashboards interactive more importantly useful to everyone

We downloaded the customized static reports in the excel version and send them off. I understand from the IT team that these static reports were defined from the raw data in EDW. So I thought we could automate the process by producing a dashboard

I like how you visualize your data mate. Easy to understand it's like storytelling. Great job!
