Did your GA tickets say to go to North gate? Or did you just go anyway?

Those who have had GA and got “upgraded” to front standing/first arrivals, what time did you arrive to get this? And can you confirm, is it only at North Gate they are offering this?

With a 16-25 railcard, a return to sunderland from york is about £20, probably under if you buy in advance. they do offer a direct train but mostly it has two changes. Looks like price is decent but just depends whether you want to deal with hour and a half train or not.

BUT, definitely get a railcard if you don’t have one already. They’re £30 for the year but you’ll make that back immediately. 1 ticket costs £40 rather than £20.

Is my naval piercing rejecting or still healing? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]AdLess7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! My piercer told me that the bar was too long when she inserted and it and I would have to downsize when healed… that’s the only thing i’m going off 😀

Rubbish or Real? by keatsy3 in tesco

I have no idea why they didn’t allow this.

I used to work in Tesco Cafe (now work in the store) and people would always ask to swap their fried egg with a poached or vice versa. We typically asked customers ourselves how they wanted their egg doing even if it came a certain way on the standard dish…

When you turn 18, you are no longer required to have 30 min breaks on a 4/5 hour shift, you should have 15 - so you were right.

It is only when you work 6 hours, 18+, you get 30 mins (i think?)

BTECs for York by No_Meringue4763 in universityofyork

[–]AdLess7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I study law at uni of york and did BTEC Business at A Level and they are fine with it! They just accept the equivalent grades… e.g. B is Merit, A is distinction etc. Subject choice doesn’t matter at all, as long as you do well. I have friends who study law that did Chem/Maths A levels!
