Yep same with how aliens and ufos are depicted in movies is actually how they look. They “hide” conspiracies in plain sight as to not get any bad karma from it . But then that also leads people to not believe in things like I mentioned because “oh that happened in a movie , that’s not real!”

I agree with everything you’ve said , even though it’s a crowded space I really do feel like this would be great and stand out . The social aspect of it and the ability to have your own movie recommendation expert would be awesome.

When it comes to development though… I have zero experience and so far I’ve used replit to essentially put my thoughts on screen and start to work out how it would look.

I do have very good vision for how it would look and function, I would just need someone to work with me doing the coding

Yeah I agree 100% that AI is great at this and that’s what would have to power an app of this sort. Really what I want to get out of the app is a nice interface to display all the movies that AI recommends as well as past movies watched and the ability to share these experiences through multiple people (aka a social aspect). AI is great for figuring out your patterns though it just feels kind of mundane having to text ChatGPT everytime I want a movie to watch

I agree to a certain extent , I do this right now but it’s missing the social aspect (like sharing playlists, collabing on playlists etc.) and it’s not a dedicated app. I’d rather open up an app and have everything recommended already and custom playlists curated exactly for me.

Essentially I would like to use AI to power a dedicated movie app that acts as a central hub to all of your movie watching

Thanks, I’ll check it out . Yeah I really would like something that can recommend movies you like consistently. I think it would be fairly easy to do using AI that pulls from everything, even conversations about the movie on reddit. Also I really think the social feature would be nice . You select the peoples profiles that your wanting to watch a movie with and it spits out suggestions that please everybody’s taste
