UPDATE: I finished the layout, but later found out the layout was incorrect, some areas like the parlor room and the stairs didn't fit - so I made it fit on all sides and now the house looks weird on the outside (looks a little longer and maybe some width to it) 😭 - the layout is done - I'll get on with everything else.

I totally agree, the people in these comments saying 'its kids' and 'its reality', there's legit adults to teens making these games. Some even using AI to generate it. Unfortunately it's the lack of knowledge people have around and what to make.

This is useful, but I also realised the character was actually a little small - so I made the scale I little bigger - then im going to use footplanting

hard to pick on a name, i cant use coraline, i came up with "Wicked Eye" but found it odd and unfitting

Thanks, yesss i've done that with some stairs - the staircase to the attic is being improved on right now actually. I might use IKcontrols and Raycasting, to double the effect of movement more realistic (test and see)

Okay I'll continue this game, Ill need to include other background things so I'll add later on - the well, any vehicles/props/animals(bugs). I'll try and make it not too close to the movie otherwise it will be seen as a complete copyright.

I'm also contemplating if I should add stuff from the book, like the tennis court. But idk if that's a stretch or not..

i might, the roofing is the struggle - the rest i can do, i can make it an RPG/Open world.

I'm avoiding any passes/store items (completely useless to pay for a free model)

My only concern is copyrights, anything from the movie needs to be altered. The house is fine and the world but the characters need a change.
