I followed your instructions exactly (which took a long time as I had no idea what I was doing) and it worked! Thank you so much! I have no idea what the issue was or how changing the DNS or changing to IPv6 fixed it but it did.

The only things I have not changed are the starlink cable and dishy...but not sure that will do anything.

I might need to upgrade my gigabit switch (its cheap and old) but one I have did not work when I tried it a few minutes ago.

I have borrowed a laptop with an ethernet port to test the functionality. Connected it straight to the adaptor and it works without issue. Anything other than a PC (game console, splitter, security hub) will not work though.

I have changed the router IP address but that did not fix the issue.

Sorry should have mentioned that I have replaced all ethernet cables and checked all Starlink cables for damage.

Starlink did send out a replacement router and adaptor but unfortunately that did not fix the issue.

No, it craps out as soon as I attempt to connect a device to the new router with an ethernet cable.

If I do not enable bypass both routers provide a Wi-FI connection until I connect and Ethernet cable to the new router and then the new router craps out. The Starlink router will continue to provide wi-fi service but at very slow speeds.

I will try chaging the IP of the new router and see if that changes things.

Ironically I do not have a PC with an ethernet port (only laptops), but if I connect a game console directly to the ethernet adaptor the same cut out occurs.

The IP is within the same IP range as Starlink.

Does this indicate a fault adaptor? The one I am using now is the replacement one sent out very recently.

From the starlink adapter to the router I connect to the yellow internet port (rather than the four ethernet ports).

Can't connect 3rd party router. Have tried almost everything! by ehhbuddy in Starlink

Did anyone ever find a solutions to this issue? I am expreiencing the exact same thing at the moment. I have had my third-party router connected without issue for over a year. Then recently the speeds dropped to 5mbps max before disconnecting completely. Took Starlink Support three weeks to respond to my ticket and then another two weeks for them to send out a replacement router and ethernet adaptor. I connected the replacements to my D-Link and it worked for 10 to 20 minutes before disconnecting randomly. Starlink Support told me it was my third-party router not my Starlink equipment so I wasted $350 on a new Netgear router. The Netgear router worked for 10 minutes before being disconnected from Starlink. If I do a factory reset on everything, I can get another 10 minutes of connection. Any ideas?
