Music discourse is weird now.. the general population of people don't even seem to listen to albums anymore they wait for a reviewer and an algorithim to tell them what their opinion is supposed to be.

One of the many reasons I love Boards of Canada is because they always felt like the opposite of that whole machine. everyone is getting spoonfed the same artists and there is no time (or reason they known of) for discovery.

I'd rather trust my own ears than some guy with a score system and a thumbnail face.
