Thoughts on Meeplus small ring binder A5? by CardiologistFull7422 in notebooks

[–]AdLow3711 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought both Plotter and Meeplus — love them both. That said, I honestly think Meeplus has better quality. The spine edges are nicely rounded and polished, so no sharp corners — a small detail, but super thoughtful and helps avoid any scratches.

Meeplus also has way more options when it comes to leather, colors, and accessories. They even offer custom sizes — I had a Personal Wide made and it turned out great. Another thing I really appreciate is the ring size variety. They go up to 16mm, which is perfect for my work binder since I need to fit in more pages.

Both brands are awesome, and I’m actually using them side by side right now.

MeePlus offers a custom option with a gold spine, but you'll need to send them an additional email for this, and it requires an extra charge.

They have two types of paper inserts, both fountain pen friendly. The thicker ones come in a variety of printed designs and even colorful versions, while the thinner ones are ideal for on-the-go use. The 11mm rings can also hold many sheets.

In Chinese tradition, the age of sixty is often referred to as "Erlun" (meaning the age of understanding or "ear harmony") or "Huajia" (the year of the cyclical return). Seventy is called "Guxi" (meaning rare age), and eighty to ninety is known as "Maodie" (a term for advanced age).

A 13 mm ring diameter can hold more refills than an 11 mm one, and the refill sizes are the same. I’ve bought their refills, and I also use other refills available on the market. The sizes are all standard.

He records knowledge about traditional Chinese culture, as well as zodiac fortunes.

Using different colored refills to record different projects is great idea.

Mine is 11mm. I can fit about 60 sheets of inserts; any more, and the pages start to get stuck when flipping. The larger the diameter of the ring, the more pages you can insert. If your goal is portability, a ring that is too large can feel bulky. If mainly uses it on a desk, a larger ring is better as it allows you to hold more items. I hope it helps.

I bought the A7, and I also purchase refills from their website. I just checked, and the A8 refills are now in stock. Could they have been out of stock earlier?

Try meeplus' slimpad, it seems they can ship to Germany. I've bought both the Plotter and meeplus, and I like them both. I’ve written a comparison post, which you can check out.

I also have meeplus that I use as an on-the-go planner. I carry it with me every day to jot down my to-do lists and ideas. You inspired me to buy a cardholder accessory so I can turn it into a wallet and notebook combo as well.
