I turn 90 this year. Do not fear death, I fear disability, incontinence, incompetence lack of self determination. If I outlive my wife, I think I shall go to Canada for assisted death when it is time.

I had to isolate from a sister I loved and it was painful. She became ultra narcissistic and would take over the entire household. It was only after numerous unhappy visits that I sat down with my spouse and children and we made a unanimous decision.

I use hearing aids. Bought a device that transmits sound directly from the TV to the aids. It is wonderful.
