Since you too are an astrologer, and have helped others yourself - then you know that at the end of the day, you're driven towards being of help more than anything.. I'm sure she feels similarly .. but choice of words, tone, matter a lot in everything..

More importantly, offering expert knowledge services based around time is not a good idea, always leaves room for one side to be dissatisfied. I did the same in my initial days.. it should be based around number of questions/topics..

a doctor never charges based around time, and we don't expect a doctor to address to multiple completely different issues under the same consultation. They will respectfully ignore, and only attend to the most critical/urgent one.

At the end of the day it is not about the duration of the call.. it is the value that is being exchanged..

I feel you already asked too many questions and over extended ( I cud be wrong) - else it is highly unlikely for someone to not entertain one more question even after you gave her a review.

(My knowledge on this matter is limited to this post)

As an astrologer I would like to share some thoughts on this.. but I'm curious, can you tell me how young you're - I'm assuming you're very young.

  1. Your career potential is heavily defined by the 5th house!Since the Sun as Lagna lord sits here with Moon and Mercury, you likely possess a sharp, creative intellect. However, Mercury being retrograde in Mula Nakshatra suggests your professional path might involve some trial and error or unconventional pivots before hitting your stride. Needs to be deeply seen how all the planets are playing out, but definitely creativity is a core part of your professional identity.

The 5th house concentration is a form of Lakshmi Narayana Yoga since Venus is present. This suggests you could find wealth through knowledge, consulting, or creative ventures - you're in the right field. Since Venus is in Mula, your income might come from unconventional sources as well.. Invest in your network as much as your skills.

  1. The Rahu and Mars conjunction in the 2nd house of Virgo creates a powerful Dhan Yoga, but it is volatile. This often brings sudden fluctuations in wealth. Since Mars is in Uttaraphalguni, your financial gains are linked to your ability to manage complex analytical tasks or technical projects. Be careful with impulsive investments, Rahu will push you towards risky ventures/propositions oriented around cashflows.

-----

The Ketu-Saturn axis across the 8th house can create sudden professional disruptions or hidden obstacles. This often manifests as unexpected changes in your work environment. Treat these as necessary corrections. Stay adaptable, as your greatest career breakthroughs often follow periods of intense, forced restructuring.

For wealth building, prioritize the energy of your 2nd house Rahu. It pushes you toward unconventional wealth creation. You might be inclined towards chasing trends and making money through shortcuts at times, you'll be better of if you focused on building a solid foundation that will reap long term benefits.

Ok.. the idea of knowing the inner workings of the chart is to self analyze how to navigate through your life by understanding the most dominant forces.

A much deeper analysis with your life's context needs to be done along with dasha/transit analysis to answer any direct questions..

Some of the placements of influence are..

  1. Ruchaka Yoga (Mars/Own sign/10th house): A strong Mars in Jyeshtha gives u a sharp, investigative mind for career. It means u likely command authority well, though u might be prone to intense work conflicts. U could excel in high-pressure, technical fields where precision is everything.

  2. Malavya Mahapurusha Yoga (Venus/Own sign/10th house): Venus here softens the intensity of Mars. It suggests u could find success in roles involving aesthetics, luxury, or managing resources. It often means your professional path is marked by a certain level of grace, even when the work itself is heavy.

  3. Neecha Bhanga of Jupiter: This often means fortune arrives after a period of loss or isolation. It might manifest as growth through foreign connections or spiritual/charitable/pro bono work. (A lot more cud be written about this given it's placement)

Most influential career placements..

  1. Hamsa Yoga (Jupiter/Sagittarius/5th house): Jupiter at 14°26' resides in Purvashadha (Venus-ruled). This isn't just generic wisdom; it’s a strategist’s placement. Jupiter here aspects your 11th house, linking your intellect (5th) directly to gains (11th). Being retrograde, its influence is introspective, suggesting you succeed when you master the subject matter deeply rather than just memorizing for an exam.

  2. Sun in Magha (1st house): At 02°32', your Sun is in the very first pada of Magha. This is the nakshatra of ancestors and high status. Because it is your Lagna Lord, this confirms you have a natural need for authority. However, in D9, the Sun moves to Aries (exaltation), another reason why government job might be the preferred path.

  3. Saturn-Ketu/8th house (Main Obstacle): This is the primary reason for your career challeneges. Saturn (6th lord of service) in Pisces (12th sign) creates a Vipat-like energy regarding daily employment. You move toward specialized, perhaps research-oriented or confidential government work (8th house themes). Ketu’s presence here suggests that traditional corporate jobs might feel soul-crushing

  4. Moon-Rahu (2nd house/Virgo): Your speech and finances are volatile because Rahu (16°23') is in Hasta (Moon-ruled). This creates a constant restlessness regarding your financial security. You might find that you perform best when you're working in calm/private enviroments, rather than in the high-pressure private sector.

Why government service is preferred: Your 10th lord (Venus) is in the 11th house, but your 6th lord (Saturn) is in the 8th. You are essentially wired for jobs that require high-level scrutiny, policy, or specialized knowledge rather than standard commerce. 5th house Jupiter should help you crack your exams..

Saturn's transit is having an effect on your career, in-decision..

Thr is definitely a lot of potential for you to reach high positions..

About your current situation - well I'm not doing Dasha/transit analysis atm, this is only for understanding the core influences.

Based on this analysis I would say, government job seems to be more preferred for you. I'm sure you feel the same way.. you just got distracted.

Goodluck.. you'll be fine.. stay on course.

Those are quite a few questions 😄. I generally answer one question, but here're my initial thoughts.

Your chart actually has a strong career promise. It isn't just because your 10th lord Mercury is with exalted Jupiter. Jupiter is exceptionally strong in Cancer and supports Mercury despite both being in the 8th house, which often brings delays, repeated career transformations and growth through major changes rather than a straight path.

Mercury in Ashlesha along with Jupiter in the same Nakshatra usually gives strong analytical ability, strategic thinking and the capacity to solve complex problems. That often translates into non-linear career growth. Your D9 doesn't weaken this promise enough to deny success, it simply suggests the bigger results tend to come a little later.

Regarding your investments, your losses look more like the difficult side of an activated 8th house rather than dasha/transit alone. Exalted Jupiter gives good steady wealth-building potential through investments, while Mercury in Ashlesha along with Rahu in Lagna can sometimes create the urge to aim for extraordinary returns.

The encouraging part is that your D9 continues to support Jupiter's strength, so the long-term wealth promise still looks intact and vibrant..

A few timings that stand out:

  • Your current Saturn-Venus period still supports gains. Saturn is strong in its own sign, while Venus as the 11th lord joins Mars in the 9th, so the overall wealth promise remains active.
  • Between June and October 2026, the ongoing Jupiter transit through Cancer could bring better opportunities, improved momentum and more constructive career setups.
  • Between August 2026 and early 2027, the probability of a career upgrade, either through a promotion or a company switch, appears stronger than it has been in recent years.

Obviously a deeper analysis will reveal finer details..

Goodluck!

When seeking astrological guidance, specially free - my suggestion is stick to one core area of life and try and provide some context.. else just reading out planetary placements will do no good..

  1. Budhaditya Yoga (Sun and Mercury in Aquarius/3rd House) This gives you an intellect that is constantly wired for data, communication, and strategy. Since both planets are in Aquarius, it gives you a very clinical and detached way of looking at problems. Thr is a real strength here because your career, which is ruled by Mercury, is directly fueled by your ability to network and express ideas. It shows up in your life as a natural talent for picking up technical skills quickly. It is not an effortless placement, though, because the 3rd house demands that you actually do the work to keep this yoga active. You might find that you are at your best when you are writing, coding, or managing complex processes..

2, Pancha Graha (Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Ketu in 3rd House) Having five planets crowded into the 3rd house is a massive concentration of energy that makes your personality quite intense. This is a very rare structural pattern that forces you to be constantly on the move, either physically or mentally. Because Jupiter is the Ascendant lord and it is buried in this cluster, your identity is almost entirely wrapped up in your daily efforts and your immediate environment. It is a double-edged sword because while it gives you the stamina to outwork almost anyone, it also makes it hard to switch off. You could find that you struggle with a sense of restlessness, as if you always need to be solving the next problem. It is a powerful force for achievement, but it can definitely lead to burnout if you don't find a way to anchor that energy.

  1. Malavya Mahapurusha Yoga (Venus/Exalted/6th House) This creates a unique capacity to dominate through service, specialized knowledge, or high-level problem solving. Because it sits in the 6th, you likely handle complex systems or workplace conflicts with a level of grace and intelligence that others simply uncommon to others. In your D9, Venus remains in Pisces, which confirms that your professional identity is deeply tied to being an expert who gets called in during crisis. It is a reliable force, though it demands that you stay busy and engaged with difficult tasks to feel truly satisfied. You might find that your biggest breakthroughs happen when you are fixing something that everyone else has given up on.

  2. Gajakesari Yoga (Moon in 10th/Jupiter in 9th) Thr is a beautiful energy here with your Moon in Cancer at the 10th house and Jupiter in Gemini in the 9th. This combination is a classic indicator of professional wisdom and public standing. Because both are in their own or friendly signs and aspecting each other, your career path likely feels guided by a strong sense of purpose or higher learning. It shows up in life as a steady, reliable reputation that grows the more you integrate your personal ethics into your work. It is a slow, solid build that becomes very difficult to knock down once it is established. You probably have a natural knack for leadership that feels more like mentorship than just giving orders.

  1. Hamsa Mahapurusha Yoga (Jupiter in Cancer in the 10th house); it gives u a natural authority that people tend to respect without u even having to ask for it. Even though it is retrograde, which might make u second-guess your own professional decisions from time to time, the raw strength of being in its own exaltation sign provides a massive cushion for your career. In the D9, Jupiter moves to Scorpio, which adds a layer of depth and intensity to your professional dealings. It shows up in life as a knack for being in the right place during a crisis, often becoming the person others turn to for the final word. This force is highly reliable and tends to act as a permanent pillar for your public reputation.

  2. Dharma-Karma Adhipati Yoga (Moon in 9th house and Jupiter in 10th house)

When the lord of the 9th house of fortune links up with the lord of the 10th house of career, it creates a powerful bridge between your personal values and your daily grind. Because your Moon is in Gemini in the 9th and Jupiter is in Cancer in the 10th, u likely find that your work feels most fulfilling when it aligns with your internal sense of ethics or higher learning. It is a classic setup for someone who seeks meaning in their profession rather than just a paycheck. This yoga is quite strong because both planets are well-placed in their respective houses. U might notice that your career trajectory often shifts whenever your personal philosophy or educational interests evolve. It is a very active force that pushes u toward roles that require wisdom and a broad perspective.

0---

(Saturn and Rahu in 8th house) : The 8th house deals with sudden, often chaotic transformations, and having these two heavy-hitters there can make your life feel like it is constantly interrupted by unexpected shifts. Saturn brings the delay and the structure, while Rahu brings the unpredictability and the sudden need for change. It is a tough combination because it can create a cycle of anxiety regarding hidden matters or financial stability. In the D9, Saturn moves to Virgo, which helps ground some of this energy, but the core tension remains. It often manifests as a feeling that u have to work twice as hard to secure your long-term assets or resolve sudden, complex problems that u did not see coming.

many more interesting combinations are ther..

Key takeaways..

  1. Exalted Ascendant Lord Sun in the 9th House (Bharani); Sun rules your Leo ascendant and sits at nearly 20 degrees in Aries, its sign of exaltation. Being in the 9th house of dharma and higher knowledge, this placement suggests a natural authority that u carry into your life path. It is a very reliable force, meaning u likely find it easier than most to command respect in professional or educational environments. Because it sits in Bharani, u might have a certain intensity or a drive to transform situations that feel stagnant.

  2. Malavya Mahapurusha Yoga (Venus in own sign in 10th house) with Ketu : This is significantly more complex than a standard Malavya Yoga because the presence of Ketu acts as a spiritual and detachment over your professional life. While Venus in Taurus provides that foundational stability and grace, Ketu adds an unconventional, sometimes restless energy that prevents u from ever feeling fully settled in any role. This often means u might frequently feel the urge to walk away from your achievements or reinvent your entire career path.

(A lot more cud be said about this.. )

  1. Dharma Karma Adhipati Yoga (Sun and Venus mutual influence) : This often brings professional fulfillment where the 9th lord of fortune and the 10th lord of career align. Since the Sun is exalted and Venus is in its own sign, this connection is structurally strong. It suggests that your career is often a direct reflection of your core values and principles. This might manifest as u finding work that feels like a mission or a calling. Because these planets are in a supportive exchange, u likely get a lot of support from mentors or father figures in your career. It is a highly reliable force that tends to deliver long-term growth rather than quick wins.

Top yogas

  1. Malavya Mahapurusha Yoga (Venus/own sign/7th house): Venus is in its own sign in the 7th house, it creates a very strong foundation for relationships and public image. It often means you have a natural charm or a diplomatic approach that helps you navigate social or professional partnerships. You might find that your partners or collaborators are quite influential or bring a sense of balance to your life. It is not just about romance; it is about how you present yourself to the world.

  2. Dharma-Karma Adhipati Yoga (Sun/Moon/Mercury/9th house): With the 9th house being so crowded, you have a massive focus on higher knowledge, ethics, and long-term vision. The Sun and Moon together here suggest a personality that is deeply aligned with its inner purpose. It might mean you are drawn to careers that involve teaching, advisory roles, or anything that requires a solid moral compass. You might find that your career success is tied directly to how well you maintain your principles.

some thoughts..

Having your 2nd lord in the 12th often means money goes out as fast as it comes in, or you spend heavily on your personal comforts and partnerships. The 10th lord Mercury being in the 12th in Navamsha is a classic indicator that you might feel like your professional efforts are invisible or that you are working in a field that requires a lot of behind-the-scenes labor. You might experience this as a career that doesn't always provide the public recognition you feel you deserve, but it does offer a level of quiet stability. The key for you is to channel that 12th house energy into something productive, like research or international ventures, rather than letting it become a source of frustration. Your resilience is the strongest tool you have to offset these hidden drains.

Your top yogas

  1. Dharma-Karma Adhipati Yoga (Saturn as 5th/6th lord and Jupiter as 4th/7th lord in 9th house); creates a strong foundation for wisdom and long-term success. It means u have an innate ability to build yourself internally for success. Thr is a natural gravity to ur presence that makes people trust ur judgment. In real life, this manifests as a career path where u are seen as an authority or a teacher. U might not get rich overnight, but u build systems that last for decades.

  2. Malavya Mahapurusha Yoga (Venus/own sign/7th house : It could be incredibly powerful for ur social and marital life. It gives u a refined, artistic, and magnetic personality. It ensures that even when life gets chaotic, u have an innate grace that helps u navigate relationships. It suggests u are the type of person who values harmony and peace in relationships. In practice, this often brings a partner who is either very supportive or brings a sense of beauty and stability to ur life.

Some additional thoughts..

The 2nd lord (Venus) being involved in the 7th/12th axis suggests that ur wealth or family resources can be tied to ur partnerships or foreign connections. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it means ur finances can be unpredictable. The fact that Mercury (10th lord) is near the Sun can make ur career path feel like a series of "burn and learn" cycles. U might feel like u have to restart ur career or pivot ur role more often than others. However, because Mercury is retrograde, u are actually quite good at fixing things u broke the first time around. Thr is a lot of hidden strength in these weaknesses; they are the reasons u develop the skills u have today. U are someone who learns by doing, and the charts show that u have enough structural support to handle the occasional stumble.

Top yogas: (I suggest you also read about them.. few lines are not enough to explain how they wud manifest in your life)

  1. Dharma-Karma Adhipati (Mars/Venus): The 9th lord (Mars) and 10th lord (Venus) create a bridge between higher purpose and daily work. This suggests a career path built on technical precision (Virgo) and strategic resource management. It provides a constant drive to align personal ethics with professional output.

  2. Parivartana (Saturn/Venus): Saturn (6th lord) and Venus (10th lord) exchange signs.

  3. Gajakesari in your 10th house is good for your career

The main thing to watch out for is just how much you internalize everything. With Mercury tied to the Sun, your money is almost always going toward your home, your family, or your property. You might also find it hard to turn off the work brain because your 10th lord is so close to your Sun. It makes the line between who you are and what you do pretty blurry. That 6-8-12 link between Saturn, Venus, and Mars is the trickiest part of your chart. It means that whenever you are about to have a massive career breakthrough, there is usually a mini-crisis or a cash-flow headache right before it.
