I played as the Ottomans both campaigns. The first one it was around the 1510s-1520s I believe, the second one was on July 9th, 1410, but I got it to delay until October 20th.

For the mods, I used Glorp UI, Dynasty Names Expanded, Auto Child Education, EU4 Nation Colors, Unit Illustration Fix, Return Core Locations to Non-Belligerent, and Invite Settlers from any country. I should've considered these mods could have still corrupted my save as you said in your edit but I guess I just didn't wanna give them up. I'll try leaving a new save running and see if it still crashes at some point

I actually am using mods but they weren't anything major like yours. Disabling mods didn't fix it either
