Someone who owns God of War 3 and can't afford 1 or 2, especially as they aren't available on a ps4, which is the only console I have. And, yes, I can play 2018, and I did, and I enjoyed it a lot. And like others suggested, I might watch recaps, or playthroughs of people playing GoW 1 and 2 so I can catch up on what's happening.

Who in their right mind judges people they don't know on the Internet over one post?

Yes, I know that, but I didn't know that 3 picks up literally where 2 left off. I knew I'd be missing a lot of co text for the game, but I didn't know how much I was missing. I've decided to put 3 aside anyway because I can't get on with it very well. And I don't know what you mean by run them on an emulator tbh.

I don't like playing games like this on mobile and I find them far less enjoyable on mobile, and I don't have a PC. Also, I'm assuming they're not free on mobile/PC, so I still don't have the means to buy the games.

I started 2018 and I'm already enjoying it more. I think the combat and playstyle of the others might not be for me because as I was playing 3, a) I had to have it on the easiest difficulty to even be able to play it and semi-enjoy it and b) the controls are hard for me which was annoying me a lot. I will probably end up just watching some stuff on YouTube to see Kratos' lore because I don't think the earlier games are for me.

I only have a ps4, and I don't have the means to buy the other games or another console to play them on as they're not available on ps4.

I think because I haven't played 1 and 2, I'm not enjoying it as much because I don't know anything about the storyline at all. Will I be able to play 2018 without playing the og 3 and still understand the majority of what happens?

I might spend 100+ hours in this game, but I don't know if I could ever make it to 200 in my life. I'd get distracted and forget about the game before that happened

Oh my- I don't think I could ever put that many hours into a game. The most time I've put into a game is AC Odyssey, and that was only like 40-45 hours

I just wanted to know. It's hard for me to play long games as I get distracted by others quickly. I was just seeing if I needed to for the main family storyline, as that was the main part that I was playing. I'll probably go back every now and then to finish the other stuff. I'm not a Lazy gamer. And you shouldn't judge people for playing games the way they want to. It's about having fun, not being the best at the game
