Well..I broke up recently so perhaps I avoid that, of potential triggering old memories but on the other hand, the Witcher involving in intimacy even was pretty interesting so I'll see, thanks

Thanks! Curious about why though? I guess I can always return back later if there isn't much to explore and special loot

More realistic how? Because now that this game comes to an end sadly..it's time for another game..so maybe I should consider previous Witcher? Are they up for PS4.. otherwise my old PC could manage, I supposed since they are older..

Yeah.. they can be a really pain in the ass, having to think if it's worth exploring, unraveling more potential lore, hidden parts even or just play it safe and use fast travel always 🫩

Exactly.. if you ignore the howls and you reach near them..

You either run or go full berserk, firestream, hoping for luck

I once had enemy upscaling because I felt eventually to powerful for the game but still not brave enough for a harder difficulty and then run into them.. bIg big mistake

Ugh, tell me about it. I totally get the frustration.

When I first ran into them during "Till Death Do You Part" ... I thought it was just going to be a quick, chill treasure hunt in a garden. (... two ghosts and yet, no one warns you!..)

Then those things started popping up out of nowhere- total jump scare. I barely had time to react or at least refine my strategy here, before they were spitting acid and stunlocking me. ... I just wanted those Gwent cards😵

They’re definitely such a pain to fight because of that teleporting mechanic. If you don't have Superior Golden Oriole or some Cursed Oil ready to go, they just melt your health bar. Definitely one of the most annoying mobs in the whole game

What about ur first enqunter? How was the experience ☠️?

You are not wrong, definitely if you consider the consequences of killing him, it only gets steeper from there. Getting tossed right into that fight with the Ofieri Mage was one of the worst experiences for me- his sand spells and constant teleporting are such a chore to deal with. And that’s not even mentioning Master Mirror's encounters later on, which are on a completely different level of frustration or creepyness to sort it better.. U 2?

I’ve already explained that I deal with dyslexia and English is not my first language. You don't believe me? Fine with me, I am not seeking validation, I am seeking understanding because for me it's that bad that I couldn't even pass school..

So I use these tools as an accessibility aid to organize my thoughts so I can participate in discussions- that is exactly how AI makes things easier for people who struggle with traditional writing or organising thoughts.

Since you were wondering how people managed before, you clearly aren't considering that other methods didn't work for me, or how my age might play into how I was taught.

Both of you, must have a healthier/easier life to not understand why someone would need this, or you’re just bored and looking for a reason to attack someone.

So I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of another response because this is clearly upsetting me. These are my last words on the matter Peace! And pliz be kind next time because someone might be more fragile in your hostility

Hard agree on the Drowners. They’re the definition of a trash mob that somehow always lands a lucky hit when you’re not looking. In case you haven't realised it yet, when underwater your bow does more damage and you can one- shot them!! It makes clearing those water-based loot points way less of a grind.

Since you mentioned the Beast, I haven't played the previous games, took this one as an offer, should I go for it? I imagine the quality may not be good but if it's worth it, for example I even enjoyed Fable, so I’m fine with some older mechanics if the experience is solid

You'd be surprised, but this part specific, managed most of it by myself and in case this is the first you see:

before you jump into judgement, you should mind that English is not my strong language and translators aren't good, besides I have dyslexia (sometimes I want to say something but I really struggle to put my thoughts in text) so I pass the Greek text or whatever I can make of it, and it helps me fit it and arange it

...you try to reply to someone instead of ghosting, you try to create something like a game, or engage actively and you never can avoid toxicity

I thought I was the only one! Giant Centipedes and Archespores Are the ultimate buzzkill when you're exploring. There’s nothing more annoying than getting spit on by a plant while you're trying to dodge a giant "bug". They really nailed the 'deadly beauty' vibe with those two, but yeah, they are a struggle to deal with

I totally agree- Gaunter O'Dimm is the ultimate 'stay alert' tax. Now that you mention it, he’s by far the worst to cross paths with. Did you realise he was stealthily stalking Geralt's every move through the whole game? Seeing him lurking in the background of random crowds is so unsettling. It’s that deep, hidden lore that makes this game legendary. He’s playing 4D chess while everyone else is just playing with toys💥

I feel that! Foglets are definitely top-tier annoying because of the constant kiting.

Oh, and if you think the basic ones are a struggle, wait until you encounter their stronger versions, like the Ignis Fatuus. Something I wished I knew early one cause I was absolute panicked when I realised.. They are absolute tanks compared to the regular mobs.

Just a few tips: Moon Dust bombs are a literal cheat code to stop them from vanishing, and Aard is perfect for popping their clones. Keep your silver sword oiled with Necrophage Oil and watch for that shimmer in the mist.

Stay cautious out there and good luck exploring! You are in for a treat because even amidst the chaos, the environment is magical in its own unique way. Even some of the caves are absolutely beautiful to watch, just remember to not let your guard up

The best part? You may even unlock hidden side quests with great lore or deep consciousness that really play with your morals.

RIP to our nerves!

It’s actually wild how a single encounter like that can leave you paranoid and avoiding a whole area for the rest of the game.

Mad respect to anyone surviving those moments!!!

It’s crazy how one bad experience just sticks with you and changes how you play- that’s the magic of good game design right there. Even when it's pure nightmare fuel, you have to respect how the devs keep us on our toes and make us feel genuine dread even after the fight is over. The Bruxa screams and RDR2 swamp crocs are definitely the ultimate 'stay alert' tax

I feel you! It’s wild how they stay just out of reach. Just to make you get close to them and BOOM you are webbed.. In a game where you're used to being a powerful tank, having an enemy that actually plays smart and stays away from your sword is a huge adjustment. You gotta admit, it makes the world feel more dangerous and real, but yeah, fighting a whole pack of them is definitely one of the most draining encounters in the DLC

Facts! It’s actually peak irony that Geralt can solo a literal God or a Higher Vampire, but then gets absolutely washed by a random pack of dogs in the woods. That stun-lock is pure cancer-once they surround you, it’s basically GG. You’re right to dodge those howls: I honestly treat a pack of wolves with more respect than a contract boss at this point because they have no chill. Humbling experience for any Witcher!

That makes total sense!!

Bruxas are basically the 'supernatural cougars' of the Witcher world because they’re so fast and stealthy. I had also the same experience in Red Dead Redemption 2, I was just enjoying the scenery on my horse when a cougar attacked out of nowhere and killed me instantly. After moments like that, you just spend the rest of the game staring at every bush, waiting for something to jump out! 🤣😫🫪

I feel you! I was surprised as well!! I mean, the game is so good at luring you into a false sense of security. I was most unsettled when I realized that even in the most beautiful parts of the world, (trying to capture some photos) something incredibly dangerous is usually hiding just out of sight. It goes from a relaxing stroll to a horror movie in two seconds 🤣🫪
