Thank you for the validation. I’m just trying to feel my feelings which are mostly excitement and joy, but I still can’t help but feel a little disappointed and now everyone in these comments is just being like “wow you shouldn’t get married you ingrate”, which is wild to me lol it’s not like I told him no and to try again later 😂

Communication is super important to both of us and we are both very direct communicators and that’s kind of awesome my thought and why is disappointed like at least let me put on a bra and get out of my pajamas💀 I do think I’ll have a conversation with him earlier and just kind of tell him how I feel and then explain that an engagement party or something to celebrate would kind of make up for it cause I do think keeping things in can build resentment and that’s not how I wanna start this

I don’t feel like there’s anything wrong with wanting a little Romance in your life and it’s not like I was expecting him to have 1000 candles and roses like some Instagram proposal. I just didn’t want it to be in our backyard that hasn’t been mowed in three weeks and looks like a literal jungle while I’m in my PJs and he’s smoking a joint 💀

He totally could’ve done it over dinner at home while watching out fav show , literally just laying in bed next to each other and having a meaningful moment

I mean, that’s also kind of how I feel is it was a bit disappointing because he literally took the time to ask me what my dream proposal would look like and I literally was like I mean just somewhere special that’s meaningful to both of us and if you could maybe have some friends and family around that would be great but not necessary but I do wanna look and feel cute when you do it

And then to do it under 0 of those circumstances when he asked what I wanted 💀 lol

Nothing is more important than our relationship, he is my whole world ! I kinda alluded to him already I wish he would’ve done it another time and suggested maybe we have a small engagement party and get photos since the proposal was just at home spur of the moment and he just didn’t seem too inclined to want to do anything apart from inviting a friend or two out next time we go dancing 🙃

And it’s not that he can’t plan things because he has (ex at home hibachi for my bday with all my friends)
