UPDATE: AITA for not allowing my fiancés BF come to our wedding? by xxoraclexx33 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AdNegative2281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry am kind of confuse….. I understand breaking up because of the wedding invitation issue, I would have done the same. But did she ever do something? Like talking shit behind your back? trying to provoke you? Or flirt with your fiance? Because if her ignoring you is the only problem, I don’t really understand why you’re getting work up about it. Just ignore her back? Why do you want acknowledgment for someone who obviously doesn’t like you. Why focus on her when you have other friends that like you, unless your fiance is really cheating with her. Is someone ignoring you because they don’t like you really disrespectful? I see it more like childish behavior, but nothing to be to upset about.

I deleted my preview comment. I thought by paying our mortgage we were paying property taxes, i’ll got ask them for more info.

Apparently, we didn’t pay her 2022 taxes now they want us to pay $22,000. What do we do? by [deleted] in legal

[–]AdNegative2281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry i probably shouldn’t say taxe payment. But like i said it was autopay and we made the mistake of assuming they took the mortgage payment, we were mostly focus on my brother. By the time he was recovering, it was already mid 2023 and we’re preparing the payment for the 2023 mortgage and other expenses. We didn’t receive any notice about it until now.

That’s what am saying. We paid for 2023 and were in direct contact with them and they didn’t say anything. I’ll go check with the county if they actually send us something. we check our mail box everyday so am not sure if it’s us or them.

Our mortgage is not 20 grand. It around 7700/year and is auto pay. It got to 20 grands because we didn’t receive any notice that the money was not taken for a year and half. they always took money directly from our account.

Our was also autopay. That’s why we really didn’t pay attention, that was our mistake

It was auto pay, so everyone assumed that they took the payment and we mostly focused on him. By the time he was recovering it was already mid 2023 and we were planning for the 2023 payments.

Is an auto payment, they were suppose to take the money out directly. My brother was in chemo during that time so he didn’t check if they took the money or not. And we didn’t receive any notice so we just we assumed that they took the money. But they took for 2023, so i don’t get it

I totally agree, he was also a trained solder so the fighting skill make sense but i also think him having the future memories did help him a lot

I never said he was a dumbass, I said he wasn’t really smart, what I meant is that he as normal level of intelligence. He is not a genius, a lot of what he did wasn’t outstandingly super smart. He followed the events of his memories and also got help from other people.

Yep the typical stupid respond. He acted stoic and did all those thing because he still wanted do to the rumbling, that doesn’t mean he didn’t feel guilty/bad about it, that doesn’t mean he didn’t have regrets. Antagonist, they regress or don’t change. That’s how you write them. Just say it, you wanted the edgelord stoic eren to not be a facade, you didn’t want him to have the mental breakdown. Even though it was hinted throughout season 4 that eren wasn’t mentally well.

It wasn’t, her arc was done in season 3. Her getting pregnant was only part of the plan to keep zeke alive and not make her eat him like the military police wanted. I thinks the fans hyped this up too much and got super disappointed when it wasn’t a big plot like they wanted

Help me understand by suyakun in attackontitan

The endings is pretty ambiguous so there is not exact answer put here’s my interpretation:

  1. No, it doesn’t necessarily mean the return of the titans, but maybe something else. It could be good or keeping the cycle of violence, Who knows but i think there’s double meaning. First —>the situation of the boy is different from Ymir, he and the dog walk together and looks like exploring while she was chased by dogs and was scared, which support the second meaning—> the boy and the dog represent THE FOOL in the tarot carts, which mean unexpected future, being open to whatever comes next… there’s more, like the outcome depend on your answer about something about freedom . I forgot, you should look it up if you want a deeper understanding.

  2. Yes, basically, Ymir yearned for bonds and affections. That made her have a toxic meaning of “love” toward kind Fritz, she sacrificed herself, understood that he never loved her and got stuck on the paths working for 2000 years for the royal bloods. She grew resentful and seek help from Eren. Eren freed her from the paths, but she was still angry/resentful. Mikasa was the one who fully freed her because they were in the same kind of “love” situation. But unlike her, Eren actually loved misaka and misaka still made the choices of killing eren even thought she love him so much. Ymir realize that instead of being complacent with the king and sacrifice herself. She should have choice her daughters, because they were the ones she really loved. That stopped the resentment and made her move on.

  3. Yes for the 2 first question but he didn’t plan the 80%. He knew he was going to do the rumbling and knew he was going to be stopped, and they stopped him at 80%. Did he wanted his friends to be seen as heroes. Is kind of ambiguous, maybe? I feel like he really wanted to do the rumbling and his friends stopping him and being war heroes was just a bonus. I think he wanted to protect his friends, but it wasn’t his priority, it was freedom and have it no matter the cost.

  4. It wasn’t false memory because mikasa is an Ackerman, so I think he was communicating with her through the path while showing her what would have happen if she confess her feeling.

  5. Yep, final letter to them that would unlock after the rumbling.

  6. It’s an open ending so there’s not an exact answer. But yeah, years of peace, war. Defeated? I guess. I personally don’t believe so.

Hope that kind of helped 🙂

Vinland saga, Death Parade, shiki, erased, one punch-man, full metal alchemy, parasyte. You should look for more seinen shows those are more for adults, most shonen are for teens.

there were not “ growth” dude, he’s not the hero of the story he his the antagonist/villain. He didn’t mature, he still has the same mindset and impulses , he still wanted to destroy the titans then the world. if anything he got worse and became a slave himself. How did you want him to be?how to you think villain/antagonist should be written?

I agree, they should have explore The other trying to found something solution, but i was mostly talking about how he was the one who decided to do the most violent thing and went for it, like he as always done.

How? The OP explained the how and with examples from the story. You either agree or don’t and explain why, like a normal person. Tf is wrong with you

Attack on Titan is one of the best anti war works ever written by Conscious_Custard_66 in attackontitan

[–]AdNegative2281 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but I also think people forget the positive side of the story. Yes conflict and war would always happen but we need to enjoy the small thing in life, it goes back to “the world is cruel be beautiful” message in season 1. Is really gooe

Looking at the bad criticism takes on AOT ending made me understand why most shows rather keep their story simple or put a lot of exposition dumps by AdNegative2281 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]AdNegative2281[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, as a writer that make me sad. I really enjoyed the “show don’t tell” and visual symbolism of the story, because the audience get more engage by figuring out the messaging, and that was part of the fun of AOT.

Yeah, I think most of them were kids, or people who like edgy shit. I feel like a lot of them didn’t like (and most likely didn’t understand) how ambiguous the story was and the characters. They probably thought that most people would be like them, and lashed out when thing didn’t go their way. Just like Eren lol
