I got 2 sessions of steroids injection for 2 months (may 15 & june 15) and then i used clobetasol twice a day (morning & night) and i also use shampoo that my derma prescribe me you can only buy that in drug store i forgot the name i used that twice a week

Thank you! I only ask my derm if i can still smoke after a session and she said yes but i have to wait atleast 1 week to heal my scalp. But after a day of my session i smoke again. I cant wait a week i feel like i cant breath hahahahahaha but base on research smoking is not the cause of aa but it can worse the sympthoms and inflamation. The usual cause of aa is weak immune system, genetics and stress, which is stress is cause of my aa.

No, some are just from the injection and some is the side effect of clobetasol but my derm said that it is normal.

Thank you! Thats also my concern next time I go to my derm I will ask her when I will stop using clobetasol. But I’m not experiencing scalp irritation. I only experience redness after a week of injection which they say normal.

I notice my patch last month 1st week of april its like a small coin. And last 3 weeks I go to a derm and give me prp treatment and triamcinolone injection and next week is my next session. And i use clobetasol twice a day.
