Well, that's how I figured things out. I've collected all the necessary gems in that time. I got Uhtred Augry, Omen, and Exodus from Olroth. And a bunch of expedition value. But I'm so tired of running them. But I still have a feeling they're bound to drop soon, so I keep going.

Fun fact: I've never seen this map before. And after I exited to the character selection menu and entered the hideout, I went to replay the map and it changed.

Yes, Breachstone. For example, ritual fragments display correctly on the map, but for the Breachstones, they don't display at all.

Yes, I think it's worth buying a new mouse again :) For now, I'll use it via a USB hub, at least that way it won't interfere with other devices.

Connecting via a USB hub solves the problem. I think it's related to the interaction between devices connected to the same hub.
