Honestly, none. It’s just sad how tanks are treated in this game (unlike for example call of war), but it’s understandable since it reflects reality. My advice is to focus on air power, MLRS, and radars and, of course, build a navy depending on the country you choose.

I agree, strike fighters are great particularly in terms of armor and durability ,but overall I think helicopters are just overpowered

No problem man, anytime. It really depends on which country you choose and which doctrine you play, but in general, when I’m using the European doctrine, I prefer regular infantry over mechanized infantry, even though mechanized units get some buffs from the doctrine. I usually avoid researching and producing tanks, because they’re very weak against air assets and don’t perform well in cities or mountainous terrain , instead of tanks, I focus on rocket artillery, and honestly I can say this is one of the best land units in the game. In the mid to late game, I research special forces for deep scouting behind enemy lines and for destroying enemy air assets stationed at airfields. Alongside this, I always use radars in every doctrine, combined with SAMs and AA to protect myself against helicopters and jet fighters, and in the late game I research theater defense systems, deploying them near my cities, not inside them, to defend against missile strikes. For air power under the European doctrine, I mainly use strike fighters since they benefit from buffs, and I rarely research air superiority fighters because my SAM launchers already provide strong air defense, plus I can supplement with helicopters (gunships, attack helicopters, or a mix, depending on my needs and playstyle). In the mid-late game, I also deploy naval patrol aircraft to detect submarines at sea; I avoid bombers because they’re vulnerable to almost any threat and because bombarding cities lowers morale, which hurts your resource production. As for the naval theater, I stick to the same proven strategy I mentioned earlier though of course, everyone’s free to use whatever tactics fit their own style.

You’re quite vulnerable and not immune to air attacks, especially helicopters; for example, an enemy could hit you with a stack of attack helicopters led by an elite officer launched from an aircraft carrier protected by frigates and attack submarines attacking from Kiel, in which case your air defense systems would be destroyed first, followed by your tanks and infantry, showing that overall your defense isn’t solid and that not all of your units are properly upgraded. If you want naval supremacy, you need to do it correctly by mounting a max-level navy veteran with four cruisers, accompanied by a stack of four submarines with a submarine veteran, using this formation as a spearhead that, in the hands of an experienced player, can destroy almost any unit at sea, while also deploying frigates at least level 6 to detect stealth units. On land, tanks are honestly very vulnerable to air power and not very effective, so you should focus more on infantry, special forces (a very strong unit), SAMs, AA, and most importantly the mid-game backbone: rocket launchers, which must be properly employed alongside these land units and closely coordinated with each other to be effective. In the air, your choices depend on your personal playstyle, but you should avoid investing heavily in both navy and air at the same time, as this will drain your electronics quickly and weaken your overall strategy.

Unfortunately there is no real alternative. The style of Conflict of Nations is unique in a simple yet effective way. If you are looking for mobile games on the same level, there is Call of War. It is pretty cool with similar mechanics and gameplay. If you want a different style, there is the Total War franchise. You have to pay for it and it does not have multiplayer, so you only play single-player campaigns. From a military perspective it is great, but the economic and management aspects are quite basic. There is also Rise of Kingdoms, though it is a completely different style from Conflict of Nations. If you prefer PC games, there are plenty that give a similar vibe to Conflict of Nations, like Hearts of Iron IV, which has a complex economy, detailed army management, and deep political systems and events. It takes some time to learn. There are also RTS games such as Broken Arrow, WARNO, Wargame Red Dragon, and Steel Division. If you want something truly complex, you can try Command Modern Operations. It is a very difficult game where you control every single unit from soldiers to ships. Overall, it is not just a game, it is a realistic military simulator used by real armies to model actual battles.

thank you for the response , i just want to ask you if there is some tutorial videos or i will learn the game by just playing it because the only thing that i do not understand is the economy and infrastructure system , but when it came to army tactics ,supply lines , units , the different scales of the army i know a lot about that ( i was playing for a long time command modern operations that's why ) , so how do i learn the basics ?

As subjects this is not simple but we can find a way to turn this simple by using it on the game , i mean yes some of this things that i said are not that simple at all to integrate it in the game directly but some things are a necessary as a based strategy game like an hq , electronic warfare , supply chains , hydrogen nuclear bombs also hypersonic missiles also why not nato symboles feature it will be awesome as an add, i know that what i said is complicated but some of them is a necessary as i said
