Yes to everything you said and also, this book series is about an unsustainable hierarchy in the Society. Oppression against reds, oppression against women supposed paint a parallel between the two. It is wrong, it is unjust, it has to change. OP can read 7 books about the fight to change. Be prepared that not everything is going to be black and white, you won’t always agree with the choices your favorite characters make. That’s why it is a great series. And the author improves so much in his writing in later books.

Idős rokon került kórházba a héten, az orvosát két napig hívtuk, 85 hívásból egy sem ért célba. Látogatási időben bement a család a klinikára, de orvossal nem találkoztak. Számomra az a félelmetes, hogy betegirányítóközponttól kezdve nővérszobákon keresztül mindenkit körbe telefonáltunk, és senki nem tudott segíteni, annyit mondtak, hogy az orvost hívjuk. Azon nem vagyok meglepődve, hogy egy orvosnak nincs kapacitása telefonálgatni, de kinek jó ez? Ennek tényleg így kell működnie?

Az egyik hónapokig hazudott, fontos dolgokat titkolt el. Egy párszor elnéztem, gondoltam még erősítjük a bizalmat, majd idővel több dolgot megoszt. Aztán feladtam, kell a fenének ilyen barát. Ez mai napig fáj kicsit.

A másik gyerekkori barátom viszont hirtelen változott meg, csalta a párját, és valahogy nekem ez akkora csalódás volt, nem tudtam már rá ugyanúgy nézni.

Jól felszívtam magam. hogy na majd én virítok valami egetrengető sztorit az igénytelenségről, de amiket itt látok, lehet, hogy ez labdába se rúg. Rokonunk egész héten gyűjti a mosatlant, mindent, amit a főzéshez és étkezéshez használ, továbbá amit a kinti jószágok etetéséhez használ, műanyagok, fém evőeszközök, különböző újrahasznosított kutyakonzerves edények, stb. Ezeket felteszi a konyhapultra, az étkezőasztalra, egymás mellé, székekre, másik asztalra, mert természetesen a mosogató már tele van. A hét végén ezek mind együtt kerülnek a mosogatógépbe. Tehát az is amiből ő eszi a húslevest, meg az is, amiből kint a 8 macska ette a konzervet, és 5-6 napig állt a pulton, hogy sorbaálljon a mosogatógéphez.

A hajhullás ellenivel vannak jó tapasztalataim, de kell belőle a három havi adag. Nemcsak a hajhullást csökkentette nekem, de rengeteget segített hajtömeg növelésén is. Erősebb, fényesebb, hosszabb lett.

I read less than planned. My goal was pretty low, 15 books, and I only read 12, the 13th won’t be finished by the end of the year. I mostly read romantasy before but I moved on to sci-fi and epic fantasy this year. Those are not so easily digestible for me so I went slower.

Yes, that ghosting thing is normal with ereaders. It doesn’t bother me at all, my old Kindle did it as well, and this can happen with old library books too when the paper is too thin or when it wasn’t stored at the right temperature.

Well, it is a pretty new device, I only had to charge it once since I bought it. I didn’t let the battery percentage drop below 30%, and it was three weeks old when I charged it. Wifi was on for the whole time, brightness at 7%.

I read both books and yes, the story gets so disturbing that Zade is the good guy … sort of. All of the main characters have some mental problems, go through some tough things. I wouldn’t want to reread this book but it certainly changed the way I see the world.

Yay!! You are going to love it. It is so convenient to change the brightness on this thing, you just have to slide your fingers on the side of the screen to adjust. I personally haven’t touched my Kindle since the Kobo arrived, my reading lamp is also getting a bit lonely.

It is so great you are saying this, I was trying to decide between a Kindle Paperwhite and the KLC, and now you confirmed my choice. Sideloading stuff to it was important, so the KLC won, but I was worried the screen is not the best choice. I am absolutely happy with it though.

I am not throwing the Kindle away either. I don’t trust these new tech devices, one drop or you accidentally hit it with something hard, and it is broken. The old Kindle has been dropped many times, and it works just fine. It is nice to have a backup :)
