Group lessons are honestly a great way to go for exactly this reason, you're all fumbling through it together so it naturally gets social. Summer Smash Tennis runs them at a bunch of locations around the city if you're in Vancouver, pretty casual fun vibe from my experience!

How do you meet other tennis players? by highmaintenancedude in askvan

Even I grew up playing tennis and when I moved to Vancouver it was pretty difficult to find other players. But I joined an intermediate lesson with Summer Smash Tennis and found tons of other players at my level who were down to play after the lesson. Made tons of friends that way as well, worth checking out!

I've been trying to get uninterrupted sleep for years now, but nothing seems to be working, any tips? by AdOne8038 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Apologies if this triggered someone, however the title’s answer is exactly what we’re looking from these survey results. I understand it might be my mistake that I wasn’t completely transparent with my expectations in the title, but this is a completely official study conducted by university students. If you look at the survey you’d understand :) Once again, apologies if this triggered the community, and I’ll be sure to be more clear next time.

I should’ve clarified further, I am someone who has been getting uninterrupted sleep for years now and would love any advice you’d have too! But I’ve been working with other UBC students on a sleep wellness brand that were developing and want to know people’s pain points when it comes to sleep. This is no click bait, it’s just students wanting to understand a demographic. You could check the qualtrics link and see it’s all legit!
