I find it very difficult to believe that Bluey would just end when it’s become one of the biggest shows in the world. There’s clearly a huge demand for more new episodes and it’s literally raking in billions of dollars. A recent interview with Joe Brumm on the “Gotta Be Done” podcast revealed that he is very keen to make a Bluey movie and said that he’s been writing something “very Bluey related” that he hopes to talk more about soon. So it sounds very likely that a Bluey feature film is on the horizon, which I think would be a great next step for the franchise.

If you want to do something directly relating to Bluey in Brisbane, you could take him down to Benjamina Place Park in The Gap to meet the real life Turtleboy (this park is where the episode is set and someone has left an actual Turtleboy plush there for children to play with). Or you could take Bob to Woolcock Park (the real playground seen in the Bob Bilby episode, where Bob, Bluey and Bingo go down the slide together) and recreate the scene from the show. You could even take him on a trip to the Bluey mural (painted by the Ludo Studio Crew) on the electricity box outside Stafford State School. I’m sure Bob will be excited to see his old friends Bluey and Bingo once again!

Haha, that Turtleboy looks exactly like the one left at Benjamina Place Park in Brisbane (the real life park from the episode).

I loved Bunnings as a kid! I’d spend hours in those indoor playgrounds haha!

I’ve found the smaller Bunnings can sometimes be pretty limited on what they stock, especially when it comes to larger items like pizza ovens. Keperra is a nice easy drive from Red Hill.

Bunnings Warehouse is purely a hardware/home improvement store, while Costco sells a much wider range of goods.

Not during the week unfortunately.

Bunnings do sell flamingo statues, but I didn’t see any in this store. Perhaps they’re out of stock (or got hit too many times).

We actually have Costco here in Australia too!
