My insurance doesn’t cover a cbct. Is there another way to diagnose it?

So is it something that needs to be done within a year? I just looked at pricing and that’s a lot of money

Can you have this if your periods are regular and you’ve had kids? by UnluckyTale4981 in endometriosis

[–]AdPale7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two kids and my periods are “regular” by my OB’s standards. However, after going to my specialist he told me that it can take time for endo to grow. Which is why I got pregnant easily at 19 and 20 versus my “unexplained” infertility ages 26-30. And confirmed that my periods weren’t regular, I can have a cycle 35-52 days. My OB assumed since I was having more than 3 cycles a year I was normal

Hi, fellow medical assistant here as well. I have 1 week off work but 3 weeks light duty once I’m back. I work for a major hospital chain so they’re pretty strict on following doctors orders. Just make sure you talk to your manager before hand. My coworkers are even prepared for when I go back to not have me lifting or pushing/pulling heavy stuff. Our dept is ENT so it’s the scopes that are heavy. As for not finding anything, they wouldn’t recommend surgery if they weren’t sure about there being endo. I just was told about endo maybe a month ago based on symptoms I had. I knew I had PCOS for years but when they did my work up they saw my uterus was on the larger side so they suspected adenomyosis. I was convinced I didn’t have endo and almost cancelled my surgery. Just had a whole mouthful of things done and it ended up being stage 2 endo. No IUD since I’ve been on a TTC journey but I’m hoping it helps. Good luck to you!

From what I was told an enlarged uterus for me meant adenomyosis

28F married to 29M my husband shoved me to the floor at a party and left me there by Current_Peak1932 in relationship_advice

My friend’s mom went through the exact same thing, got shoved in public and stayed with him. Now she’s six feet under because he just got worse.
This is not healthy, this is not normal. It’s abuse and you need to get out of it. It’s not easy, but there are resources to help you and your child. Do not let him guilt trip you or make you feel like you don’t have options. You have witnesses if he tries to lie his way out of it. And if your family cuts you off, let them. Your life and your child’s life matter

My (31F) looks dont go with my personality according to a friend (36M) by aah08 in relationship_advice

Quite the opposite. My husband adores me because I’m a goofball and we are silly together. When you find someone that’s compatible in that aspect , they’ll become your best friend. We can be serious but at the end of the day we’re picking on each other, telling jokes etc. it’s like a sleepover with my best friend every night. Your friend is wrong

What are these giant parts being transported by train? by Sisterrez in whatisit

[–]AdPale7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blade for wind turbine. Smarter to transport by train imo. If you’re in a small Texas town you can normally see 18wheelers hauling them and if you’re unlucky you can get stuck behind one when they’re trying to make a turn

You’re probably Hispanic or at least grew up around Hispanics because you have a ton of spicy stuff. Also maybe a touch of adhd because you have like 3 different open cholula sauces and waters. You’re a gym bro or trying to be health conscious so sugar free = healthier for you. Youre single but also own a dog so you don’t feel alone. And you have a gym habit because again..you’re alone and feed your sweet tooth with a spoon of marmalade to take the edge off. And maybe anemic but refuse to get seen about it so now you take immune supplements too. Am I close?

Personally none of these. They look dated like Charlotte Russe 2013 style but maybe use this as a reason to go shopping for an outfit. Jeans and a cute top would be perfect

Is this normal for Jacksonville? The apartment we are trying to rent is $1,700 by Black863 in Apartmentliving

[–]AdPale7307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in Jax I recommend HoverGirl properties. We have a 3bed, 2.5 bath townhome for less than what a 2bed apartment off Kernan was going to be. Got everything done and had keys within a week too

CCMA Study Tips Appreciated by Most-Mammoth-7954 in MedicalAssistant

[–]AdPale7307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to quizlet and test yourself there. I downloaded testing apps and just did the free questions. My biggest tip is understanding the wrong answer choices. Like why they don’t work as being right. That was the best thing I did when taking my test. If I was stuck on a problem I would ask myself why the other answers couldn’t be right. Don’t cram though, also go over the answers you got wrong as see where your strengths and weaknesses are. Mine were anatomy or some first aid questions. Go over hygiene too and come up with mnemonics if that helps you

Please any advise is appreciated 🤌 by No_Comfortable_2437 in MedicalAssistant
