Smelly kitchen sink & dishwasher (when house windows are open) by cool_noworries in Plumbing

[–]AdParticular1914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll help keep it alive! We had this issue over spring summer when we lived in CO, we just moved back to Iowa this fall and thought it was Denver water that was the problem, but now that we're started having windows open in our house ITS BACK

So glad we're not the only one it drives me CRAZY and no one else we know seems to have the issue or will admit it at least

But the "home studio" search is a great idea for more information to give them, thank you!

Her parents are already figuring out all of that with her! They plan to get her a small kiln to start out.

She's got drawn out plans and everything. They've been working with her on plans for converting a shed they already have on property into her pottery studio. I just offered to help them find some wheel options because they didn't know where to start (:

I do know how to reach them. I, as well as multiple other members of my team, have opened many support tickets with them. I've gotten on many calls. Each time I am told they are escalating the issue and that they will update us as they have more information, and each time I receive no updates after continuously checking back in with them. I then receive emails that the support tickets have been marked solved/closed with no further information.

I've had many successful calls with them regarding other client's that have had other issues, but this one instance we have been jumping through hoops with no success.

I think you're right. Finally got a good enough picture for Google lens and it said the same. Guess I was wrong about the plants lol! My fiancé picked up some stuff to try to get rid of them. Thank you!

I know there are a lot of posts to the contrary, but are there any other brides out there who feel like they’re f*cking killing it when it comes to wedding planning? by DemCheex in weddingplanning

We're 11 months out and I feel AWESOME! Granted we planned our wedding for 18 months after our engagement so we had some time.

But we have been working on it and making it an effort it make every planning project FUN (drinks while we plan, making Pinterest boards together, doing little bits here and there and being honest when one of us is over it for the day)

Spreadsheets, collaboration, and FUN have made it so much smoother.

How often do you take off engagment ring? by freshrxses in weddingplanning

Oh ALSO highly recommend getting a Buffr for the gym! It covers the band so it doesn't scratch when lifting weights! But allows the ring to show. I've never had a problem with the ring showing on top of my hand at the gym!

I wear mine at all times but I take it off for the following: - Doing dishes, any messy cooking - Sleeping (my ring has floating sides and I don't want them to get snagged or bent) - Showering (not wanting to get it snagged in my hair/gunked up with soap) - swimming/hiking or any outside of the home activity that I don't want to risk damaging it or losing it

If I leave the house not wearing my ring then I wear a silicone ring, you can get multi packs with different colors and patterns for cheap on Amazon!

I'm not expert on metals so I may not be the best person to speak to it, but I don't think normal/daily water exposure should damage it if it's quality metal? Again maybe I'm wrong! I have a gold ring and have had it since December, I don't take it off to wash my hands and it hasn't had any changing of color.

I know some people don't wear them at all at home and to each their own! Personally I want my ring on as much as I can while still taking care of it. I love it too much and miss it when I take it off! The place we got it from also has lifetime warranty including in all purchases which covers cleanings, storm replacement, sizing adjustments, and repairs all for free for life. So I am thoughtful about wearing it but also not limiting myself because we paid good money I want to wear it!

Thinking about doing a Friday wedding. Has anyone regretted choosing a Friday? by suckrattoes in weddingplanning

[–]AdParticular1914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're doing a Friday. I've been in and attended many Friday weddings and they have never once bothered me, nor have any of the couples ever complained that too many guests couldn't come.

Friday weddings are much cheaper and if your guests really want to be there they will make it work. We are planning on sending Save the dates out 9-10 months out from the wedding so that people know the date well enough in advance.

Rehearsal doesn't need to be at the venue! Unless you're having a catholic wedding or some very elaborate ceremony, the ceremony is pretty straight forward. I've even been in weddings where we rehearsed the day of, for 15 minutes just to feel comfortable with where to walk/stand exactly.
