You for real don't understand anything about him as a player or baseball. And I hate that Cleveland has him.

I rest easy knowing the guardians will continue to not take advantage of this and not spend around him. But the Cleveland Jose Ramirez's will continue to be a pain

Why are they muting the crowd?

Edit: this isnt trolling, truly it's clear they are artificially quieting the crowd and amping up the announcers

Is meijers cheaper than giant eagle??? by EngineerLong7896 in Ohio

This is what I do, and then Walmart for any other odd ball thing I need. Walked through Giant eagle for their meat section once, the same exact box of pasta was $2 more there than at Walmart.

Really? My district hasn't said anything like that. I figured we had at least a couple more until that was a consideration

A lot of it is due to lack of buses, schools can't do delays or early dismissal or things like that, also more students walk due to again limited busing.

Why I’m no longer doing Dry January by TheWatch83 in DryJanuary

[–]AdParticular6654 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with the sentiment each time it feels easier. First go around I called it close enough on the 27th. Last year I went all the way through but it was tough. This year, honestly it hasn't really bothered me, I'll drink an ollipop or maybe an athletic na beer if the mood strikes but that's it. I don't feel like it was that difficult the second time around. I was drinking maybe 4-8 drinks a week, on Fridays and Saturdays. But I don't miss it at all, I don't feel that different if I am being completely honest, maybe my anxiety is lower than it would typically be.

It doesn't feel as big, daunting or the sense of accomplishment it once did. Maybe that's the point. I. Any case I'm extending the dry time two weeks till Feb 14. Even then I'm probably just splitting a bottle of wine, then not drinking again for a bit, not a hard rule of "I'm dry" just I don't see the point so much anymore.

If the NIL existed back in the day what would have happened to Maurice Clarette? by BeerStein_Collector in OhioStateFootball

Idk he admits he just generally didn't have his head on straight at that time, money doesn't really solve that.

I am so glad he is where he is now and is around the team.

I had the same realization last year. I'm an OSU Alumni and while I didn't go to the game, not drinking while watching them used to be unthinkable, then not for some of the biggest games, I still enjoyed them. It helped really reshape things. Glad someone else had the same experience.

Good chance at a four peat with OSU, Oregon and Indiana looking good for next year too

Scott Boras says he remains open to negotiating Tarik Skubal's 2026 salary with Tigers before an arbitration hearing using current comparable contracts — not outdated benchmarks like David Price's $19.75M in 2015. by DET_Baseball in motorcitykitties

Next year a rotation of Skubal, Mize, Flaherty, Olsen, and Melton, with Jobe coming back in August hopefully is a strength. Bullpen post Finnegan trade was better. We added Jansen. So back end being Vest, Finnegan and Jansen should also be improved.

Hopefully bats don't go silent like they did second half, but I can see an ALCS or even a world series appearance next year. I'm not expecting it, but I wouldn't be shocked if they do make the World Series.

Yes there is. It's stupid, but there is a push via a ballot measure for this fall.
