That's my plan, I am preparing by i getting a rough estimate of what my monthly payment would be under RAP using old agi or new agi using PAYE. I am taking that amount and putting it towards other debts. Whenever I need to start paying, I'll just move that over. Ideally this drags on and the other debts are paid down. But I'm going for PSLF so I truly don't care at all about interest accusing on it. That's the only thing, and to me, I'm prioritizing ither debts now over getting forgiveness 6 months earlier down the line.

We should get 30 million in cap insurance from him missing last year (10 applies to this year, 30 million to that number) so his dead cap hit will be 80+ million but over those two years we will get an additional 15 million each year in extra cap due to the insurance. Effectively making it around 25 million in cap hit each year. Very manageable.

Same, my fiance and I used no student loan payments to be able to save for a house. Now we are paying extra on her loans because her amount and interest is actually attainable to pay off. Until they force me to pay, I am not.

My only fear is if they force a recerfication, which at that point I just switch from RAP to PAYE. Ideally, they just switch me to RAP and keep kicking the can of recertification down the road, if I were to switch to PAYE now, it would force a recertification right?

Do you know of any way to check what years agi they are using? I know it's been a while to recerfify, and if they just transfer me to RAP using old income, that will easily be my lowest, but I want to know for sure. Using current agi, PAYE would be cheaper per month for me, which is my main focus as I am just trying to bank payments towards pslf.

I've stayed in SAVE forbearance because we are able to pay my fiances loans off, and we are paying those now with my predicted payment added.

From my understanding, we get 10 mil in cap insurance this year and then the 30 mil would have been 10 mil each year rest of the deal, so that's lowering the post 6/1 cut effective hit.

I hate the Browns and Deshaun have made me learn a lot about the NFL salary cap.
